What I’m doing with my life

I'm a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics major at the University of Pennsylvania. Hopefully I'll be either working as a lobbyist or a campaign manager at some mythical time post-graduation. Until then, I'm working wherever I can get paid.

I'm usually smiling and probably cracking a joke. There's humor in everything if we're willing to find it, especially within ourselves.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: A Man in Full, Tom Wolfe. Hell's Angels, Hunter S. Thompson. The Lost Continent, Bill Bryson. Welcome to the Monkey House, Kurt Vonnegut.

Music: Dresden Dolls, Fiona Apple, Hurts to Purr, Architechture in Helsinki, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Credence Clearwater Revival, Soundgarden, Silversun Pickups, Rasputina, Tool. When it comes to music, I'm a bit of a hermit. I don't get out and try new music enough, and I spend a lot of time telling bands to get off my lawn.

The six things I could never do without

In no particular order, of course.

3. Food, not so much in a biological sense but because cooking is my favorite stress release

Social policy, because I have no life. Potential recipes, for mostly the same reason.

Staying in or hanging with a small group of friends, quite possibly playing board games. I'm not much of a partier.
