My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have a girlfriend. We have an open and Polyamorous relationship. Her OKC name is Kylyssa. She is bisexual. I am not. We live in an apartment with my best friend (who happens to be my non-poly ex-girlfriend) and her boyfriend.

I'm not looking for relationships. If one finds me, that's cool, but I don't have the energy for searching high and low right now.

I want to put together a band to play my music. In the meantime I've joined an oldies band as it's drummer. Along with this I'm working on new music for a duo EP with my friend Darrin, and a new solo album.

I'm also constantly hunting for a non-retail job. Let me know if you know of a good one. Bonus if it's a film-video-audio production job. :D

My last album is available on Amazon. On CD. Just search for NaCl.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What I WANT to be doing is:

1. Recording more music!

2. Finding a new job!

I'm currently working at a retail establishment. It was OK, but it's becoming a place I hate to be. Plus, it doesn't pay all the bills.

If you’re interested, I am a musician, a songwriter, a liberal, an agnostic, a progressive and kind of a socialist.

I believe in the notion of sex-positive, in that I view sexual expression as essentially good and healthy rather than something dirty that needs to be hidden in the dark. Hiding in the dark leads to negative behavior.

I’m trying to pursue happiness. :D
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
These are the things I know I'm good at; Rhythm Guitar, songwriting, and video editing. Though I'm a very biased judge.

Maybe you can tell me what you think I'm good at. :P
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not sure. I guess it's my eyes. An ex-girlfriend of mine always says I have big brown cow eyes, which she insists is a compliment. I don't get it.

Otherwise. You'd probably notice that I'm shy.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Let’s assume the basics of air, water, food, and shelter are not in question.

Science: Science has made technology that I use daily possible.

Music: Combinations of words, tones, and textures that reach into the soul and make life awesome.

My brain: I'd hate not being able to think. At least that’s what I think now.

Humor: If I could not laugh at my own ridiculousness, I'd be insufferable.

Tea: I may have become a tea addict. lol.

Friends: My friends are my family. I love them and they seem to like me.

Sex: I just really like it. Is that so wrong?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Society. Psychology. Politics.

Health care. Kylyssa has Lupis, so our health care systems failings are often on my mind.

Changing my work situation.

Music. And how to get mine heard by more people.

Fiction. Why I don't ever seem to write a book.

Movies. And when I can make my own.

How to move my chosen family out of Michigan. Lately I've been thinking of Oregon.

And sometimes:
Sexuality. Polyamory. Sex. Threesomes. Orgies.

I think about lots of stuff. I think too much perhaps.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With the unpredictable schedule of retail employment, there isn't a typical any night.

Some Friday nights I wonder why there isn't a Daily Show. How *daily* is a show that isn't on three days out of the week anyway?

Other times I wonder why I don't get my ass out to the open mic at Quinn & Tuite's Irish Pub more often.

There are Friday's that I work until 10:30pm.

Then there's the Friday's where I'm adventuring off the coast of a tropical island looking for treasure with a sexy co-star. Wait, that's not me. ... Or is it?

So, nothing typical at the moment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love ice cream, especially with crunchy bits in it.

If you're interested in me, you may have to make the move or make it obvious that I should be making a move. At the very least drop an enormous hint. I'm a little on the shy side.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You would like to chat online. Chatting is a fun way to get to know someone a little before meeting, and it helps avoid some of the first meeting nervousness.

You like coffee shops, but maybe not coffee (I’ve started to acquire a taste for the stuff, but I don’t think I’ll ever be a real coffee drinker).

My profile didn't bore you and you think we might have something in common, something about which we can have a conversation.

You like to play Apples to Apples.

You want to surprise me.

You know what a Neapolitan Sixth chord is.

You play drums, bass, keyboards, or lead guitar. Please, musicians of any kind are definitely people I want to meet. I really NEED to get a band together!!

You're looking to get cute.

You’re interested in polyamory. My girlfriend, partner, symbiote(?), Kylyssa, and I are polyamorous and would love to know more poly people.

You listen to NPR.

You like to make this face. =^_^=

You are a butterflie.

Don’t message me if…

You are looking for a potential husband or a drama filled romance. I'm not your man. (Hm. That might make a good song title, “I’m not Your Man.”)

If you message me, keep this in mind, "I am too old to be playing around with trying to figure out what you might mean so just tell me. I'll tell you how I feel about what you might mean and we can move forward from there." Meaning, I’m shy and I can’t read non-verbal cues, tell me what you want, and I’ll try my best to see if it fits with what I want.
