My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First of all I can't believe Cupids Nemesis was taken as a user name! I'm the second to choose it and I accept defeat from Cupids Nemesis 1, whoever you might be.

I've been reading through a lot of the self-summary's to get an idea of what people usually reveal. A lot of it reads like the pen-pal letters we had to write when we were in fourth grade. I like to hike, go swimming, take walks, yadda yadda.

The picture is whats going to count here isn't it?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a scientist with a PhD in Physics (details on that can come later if your interested). But don't be intimated. I'm not "that" kind of scientist.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't like this question. No matter what you say it sounds like bragging. So I will SKIP!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not sure I've ever thought about this. In general, I'm really easy to talk to and I'm up for just about any line of conversation. So there's that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything by Hemingway, Vonnegut, or Salinger.

Music: Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead, Interpol, Operation Ivy, Sigur Ros, Hipster music (also my guilty pleasure)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Not in any order and these only include material things (friends, family, etc are obviously first)
--My camera
--Laptop (workaholic but in a good way)
--Chocolate
--Salt
--Open green space
--NYC
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The next delicious meal I will have. And the meaning of life. Also, many things in between
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends, but hopefully includes a glass of wine, good friends, low-lighting, and interesting music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
On this clearly public site viewable by anyone who has internet? I'm going to go with watching animated shows on Nickelodeon.

...you want to do all those things in your pen pal letter. Go for a hike/swim/walk, write some poetry, get a drink....

I'm fun. You'll see.
