I should probably update this since it was years ago I filled it out... I'll get on that right away! Crap, I should probably find some new pics too!!!

*Update* Good grief, I have no idea what to write. I think the most important thing to me is freedom, the ability to do what I want when I want to. One of my new goal in life is to purchase a nice catamaran and sail to the most beautiful places in the world.

I am a bit of a history buff... No I don't reenact Civil War battles! But I am fascinated by the Roman Empire. I would love to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Rome. The scale of the Roman Empire was amazing...

Speaking of scale massive vistas also impress me. The Rocky Mountains, standing on the edge of a cliff in Barbados looking out at the Atlantic with the waves crashing below. I have to get to Alaska some day as well as a myriad of other places.

I guess all of those things are simple things but it isn't the real substance is it! I am loyal to a fault. I would walk the world for my friends but it takes a little more than someone saying hello to become a friend. I am not ambitious in the sense that I need to find some meaning to my life and my work. I am ambitious in the sense that I want to do some pretty unusual things that will require diligent preparation. The aforementioned sailing catamaran would require a pretty sizeable nestegg to make possible. And I am working on that!

I am someone who likes pattern, predictability. That being said sometimes you need a little chaos too... although I have had too much of it in my life recently so I think a break is in order. I was reading the profile on another and one of her statements was that she had a fundamental reason to know why... And I am very similar to that. For most everything that happens in the world that catches my eye, or happens to me in general I like to know why.

What else... Hmmmm... Well I am boring if you are looking for someone to go hang out at the bars and dance the night away! If you are someone who likes to be outside and or travel then I am your guy.

I guess I will have to think some more about what to write here...

I am still not psychic!!!, Ascerbic, and brutally honest

I escaped, started a new life, in a new state, new job, new house... So I spend most of my time doing all that stuff...

*Update* I guess more importantly I am working toward a goal... escape! There are too many interesting places to see, food to eat, things to experience to stay in one place. I guess I want the ability to be truly mobile. Not just for two weeks at a time but permanently. So for awhile I am trying to accomplish that. Who knows if I will succeed or if I will become distracted by another goal. Right now the plan is a catamaran and sail to the most amazing places... Who knows... But I am sure I can be comfortable waking up on a nice little bay somewhere in the Caribbean or Greek Isles!

Being difficult, being a smartass... Good at fixing things for the most part. Being a day late and a dollar short. Being there for my friends when they really need it.

Bloody hell, where are my psychic powers when I need them!! You would have to ask them, I don't normally survey people after I meet them!! And if I had psychic powers you better be sure I would have hit the lottery by now and been off in the south pacific buying an island or something.

Food - Has to taste good

Music - Has to not suck!

Movies - Have to not be completely sappy

Books - Have to be interesting or teach me something

HA! I wrote these maybe 4 years ago when I worked anywhere from 40-70 hours a week in a high stress job. Thankfully I moved and relaxed a little more...

1. Those people who get in your way on the highway when you are in a hurry...

2. People in a store who don't seem to realize there are other people there who would like to get something done!

3. People who can't drive

4. People who can't drive while on a cell phone

5. Cell phones

6. That person who wants to buy a candy bar in a packed supermarket with a debit card issued in Bangladesh

Oh wait... those are things I can do without... I will have to come back to this....

So 6 things I can't do without...

1. Green - Nature, plants, trees etc...
2. Family - I don't have as many family left as some but they are important
3. A plan, some goal that I am striving for
4. Good friends - The kind who would drive all night across country if you really needed them
5. Steak - Yup, I'm a guy
6. *sheepishly* a cell phone - good grief have I become attached to my iPhone.

The world in general, my own little slice of it. I want my own island...

*Update* I think I decided on the catamaran... that way I can change islands and not worry about hurricanes and such!

Depends, sometimes out with friends.. other times in... Also depends on what city I am in as I travel a bit...
