I have always felt the need to make a difference in the lives of those around me, and am a very compassionate person. I am a peacemaker,not a fighter. The only prejudice that I will never let go of is that mean people suck. Whether someone is physically or mentally abusive, it is all the same to me. I believe in following dreams and the power of positive thinking. Although happiness tends to come to me naturally, I believe it is a choice. I am a morning person as well as a night owl. Among my interests are the love of music, laughter, waterfalls, sunsets, painting, writing, reading, travel, photography, camping, and watching movies.
The poem "Success", by Ralph Waldo Emerson sums up one of my greatest life goals.

I am what some people call a workaholic, but am working on that. One of the goals that I am always striving for is to see the world that God created before I die.

avoiding drunk men, changing the subject, smiling, working with people, and motivating them to find belief in theirselves.

I will smile at anyone that I come in contact with.

Books: Wow, that would be a big ol list. I sleep with them, actually. "The Gift of Fear", "Shackleton's adventure", "Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles", "Love is of the earth", "Twilight", "National Geographic", educational books, travel and photography mags, self help, The Bible, and many more.
Movies: Geez, well I do have a few favorites that come to mind...Interview with a Vampire series, LadyHawke, VanHeilsing, BramStokers Dracula, Blade, Lord of the Rings, Davinci Code, Passion of the Christ, Underworld, Braveheart, The Patriout, Last of the Mohicans, Practical magic, Harry Potter, Cliffhanger, The Green Mile, Die hard, 300, Indiana Jones, Nims Island... Action adventure mostly, documentaries take a close second. Can't leave out some of my favorite animations like Finding Nemo, Iceage,or Madagascar.
Music: Twangy stuff and rap get on my nerves fast. Rock and roll, alternative, blues, and original music are my fav's.
Food: It would be easier to say what I don't like, which would be sushi, fish eggs, octupi, squid...you know...icky stuff like that. I'm crazy about Thai, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, and of coarse a cheeseburger as long as it has pickles on it.

okay, here are a few things that I confess to thinking about:

Trying to learn by my mistakes, not by getting jaded, but by just not getting into difficult situations.

Facing my fears is a biggy, since that is what I preach to anyone who will listen.

Not only stepping outside the box, but living outside of the box.

I try not to be typical.

Everything that I have shared here is private...

and only if you are a cool dude. When I say cool, I mean a people person, go out of your way sometimes to help someone, friendly, kind, positive attitude, ambitious, fun, no drugs, no power trips, not prone to stalking, not prone to hypocrisy, no elitism, and HONEST. Oh yeah, let's not forget single.
