Hello!

I'm laid back, fun and playful, and also serious about the things important to me. I'm living in San Francisco and enjoying life.
I'm a hybrid of outdoorsman and book/computer nerd. I'm a dilettante - I love reading about everything I can, and I love trying out new things, especially things I think I'll suck at.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in a masters program (research based) in sexuality studies in SF this fall, which I'm really excited about. Researching sexuality and gender issues, and reading everything I can about them, is a growing passion of mine.

Trying to get into theatre (small, improv, experimental type stuff), although I know nothing about it! It's been this recent interest, so I signed up for an improv class in May, but can't do it because I won't be here for the full amount of classes. Will have to wait until the fall...

I’m really good at

Sports, almost all of them. Listening. Conversing. Perceiving. Reading. Cooking - mediocre. Reading maps. Ummm..

I'm inquisitive and not afraid to ask many dumb questions.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Oh boy...could be a big list.

Books: Herman Hesse - Demian, Siddhartha, Glass Bead Game. Stranger in a Strange Land. Dharma Bums. Island. 1984. Yeah, I like reading about utopias and dystopias. I also love classic literature for the prose itself - Lolita, Picture of Dorian Gray. Also, sexuality and gender books.

Music: Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, electronica, trip-hop. and all classic rock.

Food: I like it all, from meat to great vegan food. Italian. Thai. Mexican style. Pizza (ny pizza). Chocolate.

The six things I could never do without

Books. Chocolate. Big Cities. Sports. Internet. hmm..

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Philosophy, Sexuality, What it means to be human, and what it means to live the best life possible. Food.
