I'm a nerd and not afraid to admit it.

I'm also a writer which is a big part of my life. I am writing a novel, and to be honest several short stories. I enjoy what I do.

It is part of my genre of writing that I half-expect to turn a corner and come face to face with a dragon, get kidnapped by fearies, or something along those lines. I prefer to live life with a sense of adventure and wonder. I don't think we are ever too old to pretend.

I volunteer for an Atheist charity. I blog about social justice, feminism, trans* and gay rights in particular, atheism, and random stuff. I am interested in politics. (If interested, you can find it at www.aniasworkinprogress.com).

I'm very outgoing, and usually not afraid to make a fool of myself. I am comfortable on stage, love trying new things (though I may be a little nervous sometimes it usually doesn't take too much prodding to get me to try something). I'm flexible in that I enjoy going out, but I also love staying in.

I love to talk and about anything practically.

Best way to start a conversation with me is to ask me what I'm reading or writing these days.

I am ambitious. I am dominant but not domineering. I am not looking for a submissive personality. I want someone who is my equal. (not trying to be harsh, just honest).

Am aiming for medical school, with intentions of doing a double specialization in Gynecology and Psychiatry, and practicing as a sexologist.

I am also trying to get involved more in the atheist community. I maintain a blog, and have also given talks at some local skeptics events and a conference.
