My self-summary
Hello! I'm Clark.

I'm happily idealistic, laid back, and highly energized.
I find myself especially drawn to things that are difficult, I don't know much about, or haven't given much thought to. To me curiosity is a driving force. I seek out like-minded people. Intellectual curiosity is the trait I find most valuable and attractive in others.

I am usually absorbed by the following activities: All Nature of Outdoorsy Activities, Dancing, Traveling, Studying Culture or Language, Pen-and-Paper Gaming, tabletop RPGs, Frisbee, Writing, Computer Gaming, and Reading Sci-fi, Fantasy, Environmental, or Philosophical media.

Although I am too skeptical to be formally religious, I do hold several maxims as absolute truths.

Major components include that:

I believe love to be the core purpose of human existence.
I believe ensuring human posterity is a necessary endeavor.
I believe that each human has specific innate rights.
What I’m doing with my life
Ok serious side round two:

I'm originally from Minnesota. After finishing high-school I've had the pleasure of living many different places. My B.A. in Philosophy was from Lewis and Clark, so I lived in Portland, OR for 3 years and spent one year of intensive language study in in Beijing, China. After graduating, I spent a year as an English Teacher in Jinan, China. After returning to the U.S., I went to Vermont Law School for my Masters in Environmental Law and Policies. Finishing the program, I realized how much I missed teaching, which brings me to the present. I am currently teaching High-School Chinese. I moved back to Minnesota and have been living in the cities for the past year and a half. I'm very passionate about education and environmental protection!

In the spare time afforded by Summer, I hope to continue to travel the world. I would love to travel it with some good friends or a significant other. I frequent China as it is one of my favorite places in the world. I see myself changing my job more than once during my lifetime, there are simply too many interesting things a curious fellow could do!
I’m really good at
Looking at problems from multiple angles.
Adapting to new environments.
Ignoring societal pressure.
Word games.
Appreciating small things.
