That may sound intense, but I'm really a homebody who frequently dabbles in lots of different adventures and I'm looking for the same. If you are an extreme of either a complete homebody uncomfortable with trying new things and going on adventures, or an outdoor addict who MUST be out every weekend, we probably aren't the best long-term match.
I know what I want and where I'm going. Will you join me? I am looking for a partner to explore and experience life with me, someone who will challenge me, inspire me, and ground me. I want to meet someone who enjoys travel, aims for simplicity, values health, laughs contagiously, and strives for honesty, loyalty, and humility. I want to give and receive affection. As long as our values are close and you're curious and a good conversationalist, sharing the same interests and activities doesn't matter. I support your style, expression, and choices as long as we enjoy whatever our chemistry may be. Being prone to playful banter is a plus.
Some descriptive tidbit teasers:
--Fall weather + Friends or a book + Porch or Fireplace + Tasty adult beverages = Heaven
--I am ALWAYS up for boardgames.
--I yell, “I love Portland!” at the highest point of every bridge in town whenever I cross one. (And encourage you to add the same to your life!)
--I overuse analogies like a teenage boy overuses Axe body spray.
--Why is someone else's wine collection sophisticated, but my liquor and liqueur collection improper?
--I'm prone to overcommitting to multiple volunteer projects (they're all a good cause!) But getting better at saying no.
--I keep a written bucketlist, and actively cross things off it.
--I travel the world on free airline miles I get from mileage 'hacking'.
--I will have failed at life if I don't stamp my passport and/or visit one new National Park each year.
--I frequently stop to smell the flowers, literally.
--Loving and being loved by a pet is part of the human experience. My cat Professor Marshall Bob McBangs agrees.
--My primary transportation is my scooter which is fun, cheap, and convenient, but I have a Honda Element for all my adventure needs.
