Hello, thanks for stopping by! I'm a light-hearted individual and believe laughter is truly the best medicine in my opinion! However, that said, I do know when and where to be serious and respect that trait in others as well. Getting to know someone takes time, but I am looking for a honest guy, knows how to have fun, and knows when responsibility has to set in. I am looking for a guy who knows how to enjoy being treated. It's the connection that you have that makes it so great. Showing affection, goofing around, being able to laugh with one another. I am referring to the little things, leaving note saying you miss me, calling just to hear the other person's voice, it's the simple things that mean so much. I am looking for my true partner. If you are ready to settle down in life than maybe I am your gal. You should enjoy life and have fun, but I also think fun comes from who you are with rather than what you are doing. Good company can make what would have been a mundane experience a great time!

I don't consider myself an average person because who really strives to be "average" and I have a tendency not to "follow the crowd". I enjoy volunteering! My proudest acheivement is having received a Jefferson Award for community serivce and I’m also a member of the Alzheimer Jr Board. I’m just trying to do my part to make this world or at least Chicago a better place.

These days I find myself wanting to read historical ficition. I'm into pretty much any kind of a music genre. I prefer musicals over plays, but it also depends. As for movies, I prefer independent over mainstream films.
