I know that most of us are judged for what we look like not for who we are. I may not look athletic but I don't mind getting out and trying new things. The summer of 2012, I tried paddleboarding and really liked it. I would also like to learn how to kayak.
As far as what I'm looking for; I don't have a "type" per se. I am looking for a guy who is confident not cocky and knows the difference. A guy with a sense of humor, who doesn't take himself too serious but knows when to be serious, a guy that is affectionate in public without making "the public" uncomfortable. A guy who knows and lives the "Golden Rule"

I am rediscovering the joy of things that I haven't done for years. I'm spending time with friends, going to musuems, plays, concerts, and volunteering my time.

Putting people at ease. Making friends.

I will read just about anything; read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy in a weekend. I enjoyed The Art of Racing in the Rain, Memoirs of a Geisha.
I have to admit that I like a good chick flick but also like a good mystery suspense movie like the Bourne Identity series.
My MP3 player has a great mix of music.
I'm a non-spicy Mexican and aside from liver will try anything.

There are two choices on this, I'm either at home with a good book/movie or I am at my favorite pub singing Karaoke with friends. I could be pursuaded to try something new. ;)

I don't mind being alone but don't like to be lonely.
