I am Whimsical, Forthright, and Imaginative.
My Self-Summary
Aside from being
omniscient and
infallible, I am also the worlds most
greatest linguist. Actually I am a 22 year old living in Montréal.
I came here a few years ago from a mystical far away land seeking
treasure..er.. postsecondary education. The city wooed me with its
charm, music, and festivals and i've been here since. With that in
mind, I love music. Going to shows is one of my favourite things to
do. I also enjoy
movies,
art and
literature; true story.
Though you might not guess it from my generic-sounding
self-summary, I am a pretty random person. Not to say that I'm
fickle so much as I enjoy spontanaiety and most of my favourite
memories stem from unplanned nonsense that unfolds in the moment. I
like walks with no purpose and large bodies of water, and I love
escaping civiliation for a short while before returning to the
comforts of technology.
More generally speaking I am a pretty compassionate person and I am
very honest (possibly to a fault). Art in it's many forms is
important to me, and I always try to keep an open mind.
I am secretly from
Ontario and my french not-so-secretly
sucks, but i'm still working on it.
Now in French
I have to type something here because I had something here before
and okc wont let me delete it entirely. So there's some words.
What I’m doing with my life
I spent a while studying
Linguistics in University but I
wasn't
passionate enough about the field to
keep at it. I got into the
video game industry a couple years
ago and am currently working as a Project Lead for a QA consulting
company while working on a portfolio for a
level design or
3d animation program next
year.
I believe strongly in
games as art, and the gap between
the two is something i'd like to help bridge. The potential for
storytelling and expression through interactive media is endless
and games have an unmatched capability for creative democracy,
allowing the consumers of media to be the protagonists and
architects of their own experience. Also, they can be pretty fun ;)
I’m really good at
I'm good at
writing. I'm a whiz with all things
computers. I'm
creative in
general and I excel at problem solving. It's hard to explain what i
do at work but I'm pretty awesome at it. I also kick ass at video
games of pretty much any type, possibly a side effect from my
occupation.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either my towering height or the tattoo on my forearm. (ooh,
mystery)

The six things I could never do without
1. Ipod or Iphone - Preferably the latter for all its wonderful
internets and such, but i like having some sort of music with me on
the go.
2. My computer - all hail the almighty internets.
3. Shows - If I don't get to a show often enough my body goes into
intense physical withdrawal. Well, that's a lie. But still. Gotta
have my show fix.
4. Food.
5. Water.
6. Shelter.
Yes, I realize the last three are total cop-outs. If I think of
anything else I'll adjust accordingly.
On a typical Friday night I am
More than likely out at some bar or another with friends or out at
a show. That's not to say i don't spend the occasional friday
chilling out and having a movie night or something. Like I said
though I'm a bit spontaneous, so a random trip to a cottage
somewhere or attending a makeshift dinner party would not be too
out of the ordinary.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
If i put private information in a public profile it would hardly be
private anymore.
This is my second shot at Okcupid. I used to be on here as
alkimia
You should message me if
If you're nice, easygoing, and think we might get along based on
the above. Intelligence is a plus. Spontanaiety is definitely a
perk. An appreciation for awesome music and an open mind are good
qualities.
Also if you want to go see a show..
Or you want to know what my tattoo says..
Or you vehemently disagree with something I've said here..
Basically, message me if you feel like it.
