I work as CEO of an investment bank but am not the stereotypical finance bore. I have been in NYC for two years now and am loving it. I am the first to crack the jokes but I can be serious when required. I guess my sense of humour is pretty quirky but that makes me a lot of fun. It is also a very English sense of humour, for those who appreciate what that entails. I do also have a sensitive side and am more than happy hanging out with a movie and a takeaway with the right person.

I actually asked my good friend Kate to write something about me as I think it speaks volumes having someone else describe me rather than myself so here goes:

"I have probably had more laughs in the time i've known Richard than the rest of my life put together. The life and soul of any party, any friends I have introduced to him have always become his friends too. He's always up for a good night out or in, depending on what you fancy and either way will treat you to a great night. Never short on conversation, he's as good acting the clown as he is the true gent and can always bring a smile to my face.

He's incredibly ambitious and ridiculously generous with his hard earned cash but won't be taken for granted.

He's a bright guy and needs a lady who's got a bit of fire and prepared to give and good as she gets. If you're wanting to meet a dark and brooding type then Richard is not your man, but if you want to feel like a princess and have loads of fun then drop him a line."
