My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll try keep this basic and quick to read, though it's difficult to sum oneself up in a text box!

I'm originally from Wrexham, raised between there and the Isle of Wight and I now live in Cardiff.

I'm affectionate and I'm passionate about some things. I'm friendly and approachable.

I'm creative. I do / have done performance and technical roles in film and theatre. I write both fiction and non-fiction. I'm a musician and have recorded music, my main instrument is the bass and second is guitar.

I try to stay fit and healthy, and visit the gym but I'm not a total health freak, e.g. I really like crisps and dip.

I'm learning the Welsh language and have been teaching myself for a while, able to speak it to a basic, conversational standard. I'd love to meet a fellow speaker/learner to practise with!

I love learning about things and spend a lot time reading (mainly online.)

I'd be interested in meeting people to go to gigs or the cinema with, or musicians to jam with, film makers/enthusiasts, people into L.R.P, people who enjoy/participate in theatre and people with other interesting hobbies to do. Just a drink and/or a meal is also cool. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
There's the usual stuff like socialising, plus less usual stuff like being a member of a theatre or supporting certain worthy campaigns in Cardiff and Wales.

I've worked in arts and media before too, that was fun. I also spent 6 years working in social care helping the mentally ill, mentally disabled, physically disabled and substance addicts. Now though, my day job is at the Cardiff council.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at cooking, I really enjoy creating dishes such as cawls and curries. I do like meat but sometimes I do prefer wholesome veggie food.

I am fairly creative. Whether it's through writing and performing music or taking part with my theatre group, I enjoy these things and other people can make up their own mind if I'm "really good" at then or not.

Good at some other things too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes or my smile? I don't know, something like that I guess.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books... I wish I had time to read books more than I do (same can be said for playing computer games). When I have time to read a book, I like anything with a good, well told story really. But I tend to read things that's about something a bit different or unusual. Most of my reading isn't a book but is actually online and it's usually on current affairs or economics or something. I like to keep up to date with what' going on in this big crazy world.

Movies... Again, anything with a good story that's told well. But I tend to watch comedies, fantasies, thrillers and a bit of drama. I love the Nolan vein of Batman films (I'm a fan of Batman in general) and the Lord of The Rings among many others. Some random other films I like District 9, Falling Down, Bicentinial Man and The Truman Show.

TV Shows... I like to watch a lot of comedy; sitcoms such as Peep Show or The Big Bang Theory, panel shows such as QI or Mock The Week or adult cartoons like South Park, Family Guy or Archer etc.
I also like anything by Charlie Brooker such as Weekly Wipe..
Drama or fantasy/historical drama, stuff like Game Of Thrones and Arrow are good examples.
Documentaries and current affairs too. I also like watching stuff on YouTube - including sometimes shows I used to watch on TV years ago.

Music. I like good music from any genre. But I prefer heavy genres like rock, punk or metal. I especially like bands that incorporate a mix of styles such styles like The Wildhearts, Therpay?, Face To Face, Metallica and Skindred. I also like traditional music like folk, classical or world music and mellow things like reggae, lounge/chill out or ambient music. I have an eclectic taste in music you could say.

Food. British food, Mediterranean food and Indian food are my favourites but, like with the other stuff, whatever the type, if it's of a good standard I'll probably like it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Good food - be it made by me or someone else. It's one of those great things life offers - and better shared. Certainly, I like it when other people eat food I've made and let me know they enjoyed it.

2) Being a bit arty whether it's participating in a play, playing my bass/guitar, writing or drawing something.

3)My loved ones; i.e. my friends and family. No matter what the problem is, I'll always be there when they need me.

4) Exercise - it keeps me fit and strong, which makes doing everything else much easier. It also helps me look and feel better. Feeling better also helps make everything else I do easier.

5) Peace or sanctuary - life can get stressful and having places to go and relax is important, the home needs to be one of them.

6)The Internet's useful I suppose. I can survive without it for a bit, but yeah, is something I use a bit for keeping in touch with friends/family, keeping up to date with current affairs and generally improving my knowledge, etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Many things. The past, the future... mine or just in general.

Deep or heavy stuff like human nature, the purpose of existense, politics, philosophy... all sorts.

Creative stuff like ideas for songs or stories/films.

Soppy stuff like people I care about (especially if I have reason to worry about them).

Dumb stuff like something funny I saw... as I said; many things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I usually go to the gym then chill out at home with a big dinner on a Friday night, but sometimes I do other things, like performing or going to a good gig.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not admitting anything like that online, you have to get to know me to find out stuff like that :P
