My self-summary
Okay. So. "Sexy", "Baby", "Hottie"...just...no.
Hi. You are introducing yourself to me for the first time. You do not know me. Anyone who uses stupid language like that when messaging me can expect to find themselves blocked, because your lack of respectful conduct has led me to assume that you are not serious.
------
Otherwise... Hi! =)

Senior at the University of Michigan
I'm an artist - I do traditional and digital illustration and write comics, but am concentrating my studies in digital 3D character conceptualization, modeling and animation- with my sights set on one day making it into the film industry at a company like Pixar/Disney or DreamWorks. Or, in the gaming industry as an art director.
I'm a total kid at heart
I love seafood, pasta, and sushi
It's been awhile since I've played, but I'm quite good at tennis, and was (at some point!) decently ranked in Michigan! =)

Just because I'm "pretty" (I actually cringe just writing that.) and work at Abercrombie & Fitch, don't assume that I'm not completely caught up on Adventure Time, don't have a strong preference for subs over dubs, don't have a comic book collection, and don't *really* want to cosplay as Korra and go to an anime convention. (Just recently cosplayed as a Shingeki no Kyojin trainee for Halloween!)
I'm kind of a nerdy tomboy?

In short: I'm a person, and my looks don't define who I am. My interests and hobbies aren't "atypical". They're simply my interests and hobbies, which are obviously (or maybe not so obviously...) going to be independent of my physical appearance.
What I’m doing with my life
(This is a little dated from this summer, but oh well)
I just got back to the US after spending the past month living in Japan at a home for the mentally handicapped. I, along with 12 other Umich students worked with the patients there in an art-therapy type of way. We integrated ourselves into their lives- did their morning exercises with them, hung out with them, ate the same food that they did, and made ceramic, textile, and paper projects with them. =)

We also traveled a bit around Japan, and spent time volunteering at several elementary schools to work with kids (both handicapped and non) in the classroom.

This summer I'll continue working my 3rd summer at Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as my third summer of teaching private and group art lessons to elementary school kids.

I'm also a part-time nanny for four kids.

I'm currently working on illustrations for a children's book that I have been commissioned to do. And have a second commission lined up after that one.

I'll be looking and applying for internships at animation studios very soon... *nervous*

I would like to eventually work my way up to working at one of the big animation studios like Disney/Pixar or Dreamworks.
I’m really good at
Drawing...and some other stuff? haha- I don't know, not cooking, that's for sure. But I try! (Once the freezer is empty)

Haha- but I'm a very hard worker, and I'm good at doing what needs to get done in order for me to reach my goals.

I'm also pretty good at making the best of a situation. I'm flexible with my plans, and even if things go wrong, I don't feel that that is any reason to mope around, be miserable, and make it all worse. Do the best you can with what you have and have fun. Because if you don't try to do that... well, why wouldn't you try to do that?
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes? I've also been told that I have a nice smile
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I absolutely love anime... I've watched over 60 titles and typically keep up with the popular shows each season (spring/winter/fall). I also collected manga for quite awhile.
Anime is a -huge- hobby of mine, so if you're not into it or not willing to get into it-- byeeee~! (seriously, I'm doing you a favor. Because that's definitely something I'm going to want to talk about a lot. And imagine how boring that would be if you honestly just didn't care? lol)

I obsessively watch The Walking Dead every Sunday at 9 with my friends! (I love any show/movie/video game having to do with zombies). I don't really play video games that much, mainly because there aren't many around my house and, due to my lack of experience, I'm just not very good...lol, but I LOVE playing Nazi Zombies on COD. I like to think I'm pretty decent at that one. I also just bought Kingdom Hearts 1 (After watching E3 this year I decided I needed to get into the series) and will be starting that this summer.

In the meantime, I just recently got myself a 3DSXL and have been thoroughly enjoying Pokemon X!

I also have the Mac VBA emulator so I can play Pokemon Fire Red on my Macbook. Love it.

I'm currently reading "Paper Towns" by John Green and just finished his other book "The Fault in Our Stars" last week. "Looking for Alaska" is on my shelf waiting to be read next! =)

I recently finished watching Attack on Titan, Free!, Kyoukai no Kanata, Psycho-Pass, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, and Oreimo, and I'm currently watching Golden Time, Kill La Kill, Noragami and Kuroko no Basuke.
I also like watching Curb your Enthusiasm with my dad, GIRLS with my younger sister, and New Girl.

I -love- sushi and any kind of seafood.
The six things I could never do without
(Excluding God, Family, Friends, Pets)
My Wacom Tablet
My Astros (headphones)
Hoodies
My Canon T2i DLSR
A fuzzy blanket
Anime (heh... ^^;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Concepts for drawings or comics that I want to write.
Fun things that I want to try, make, or do.
My friends/family/people that I love in my life
...homework.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually doing homework, eating some beef jerky and watching anime, or hanging out with my friends, who, conveniently, are also my neighbors. We usually like to have movie nights, play Settlers of Catan, or just have a chill night talking.

I like to party, but I'm really not into going to clubs and just letting some random dude grind all up on me. That really does nothing for me, and I'm classier than that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm very grounded and old fashioned, and don't agree with sex before marriage. It's something that is very special to me, so it just isn't something that I'm going to go around doing with every guy I like. I know that that mentality is considered "weird" by many, and is almost as rare as a fucking unicorn these days, but those are my values, and I'd like to find a guy who respects them and believes the same. :) I don't short term date/date for fun. I don't want to waste my time or anyone else's. I only date people if i'm really serious about them.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 20–23
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
You like what you see, would like to talk to me more, and are a nice, responsible guy who takes care of himself. :)

*I get a lot of messages, and although I would like to reply to them all, i simply just don't have that kind of time. So if I don't reply, I'm sorry, but I am just not interested, and i wish you the best in finding someone!
