My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Justin. Though I currently live in Colorado, I am moving to Portland August 1st! I'm moving my vintage bike shop there, and am trying to find a house in the Inner East Side of PDX. Figured now's as good a time as any to start meeting new awesome Portlanders!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I own a vintage bike shop, and take little guiding jobs here and there for fun (I worked wilderness therapy for a year, and have guided bicycle and ATV tours). I am sarcastic, always up for random adventures, and easy going. If a road trip to a cool location is offered, I'll rarely turn it down! My free time is often split between mountain biking / cycling, rock climbing (my indoor winter sport), and otherwise enjoying the outdoors. I'm not a die hard "every minute must be in pursuit of adventure" type though, I thoroughly enjoy hanging out in various caffeine food and alcohol establishments as well as quieter nights cuddling with books or movies.

Don't let my pictures fool you, I'm a bit edgier than I look! I have a love of the dark things in life to contrast the adrenaline and generally upbeat attitude.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at listening, athletic feats, riding and fixing bikes, writing, reading people and situations, and impossibly deep/wild 3am conversations.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes :) They're a tad dark. Or my high level of energy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
MOVIES: Horror, comedy, drama, historical fiction, I can do it all. A couple that come to mind are Alice in Wonderland (and all the dark renditions of it!), Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Orphan.

MUSIC: When I was younger I was strictly a metalhead. Luckily for everyone around me I've branched out. These days it's a mix of metal, alternative, classic rock, dub-step/electronica, edgy female songwriters, classical/blues/jazz. But if you count Metallica or Pantera among your favorites, you're ok in my eyes.

BOOKS: Big fan of horror/suspense (Graham Masterton, Edward Lee, Jack Ketcham, King), off the wall comedy (anything by Christopher Moore!), some random's like The Road by Christopher McCarthey, It's all about the Bike, etc). In line to read next are Into the Wild, A Small Death in Lisbon, and a psychology novel-ish book called Sybil.

FOOD: Do chocolate and ice cream count as food groups?! Besides all that dark chocolate, I try to eat pretty healthy, and cook fairly often (even more when I have someone to cook for!). I'll eat anything really.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Bikes!
2) Human touch
3) A guitar
4) Chocolate
5) Dogs
6) Extrordinary people
7) Coffee
8) I already said bikes, right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bikes? But seriously.... I think a lot about how people think, what they're thinking. How they got to where they are now. How I can be happy. How I can make those around me happy. Relationship dynamics. Sex-positive stuff (props if you know what this is. If not, it's much less pervy than it may sound to the uninitiated)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To someone I have chemistry with, I'll admit everything. I'm an open book and don't feel the need to hide things.
