An easy way to summaries me is like so:
I am a artist, I am a scientist, I am a geek.
I have a love for creativity, for discovery and enjoying laughs, pleasant sounds, sights and foods. I value intelligence, sense of humour and those who have unabashed ambition to make the most of life.
When I was at school I did 3D Design for my GCSEs which I had a huge passion for, working on my designs as much as I could. When I am passionate about something I want it to be perfect, as I am a bit of a perfectionist. I got an A* with 98% in the end so it was worth it. But I really like art in general, not only pretty pictures but in music and film too. (Am beginning to sound pretentious? Just bare with) I really appreciate things which have been well produced or the idea behind them is interesting or challenges my mind. I mention a few of the artists I like below, and if we have any in common then super!
I'm very technologically minded, and very eager to see what new things are being developed and where tech is heading; it's super interesting! I also like to go ahead of the curve and not subscribe to the sheep mentality of going with what the next guy goes with. I stand back and evaluate things for myself, as I often find that I generally know what's better for myself and listening or copying other people has done me more bad than good.
I have a Windows Phone as my phone and a Surface as my tablet, btw.
And of that train of thought, I often like to challenge myself. Whether it be physically when exercising, writing (ahem), learning complex concepts, singing, dancing or doing things for the first time, I jump at opportunities. I have performed in a few stage productions simply to improve my dancing, singing or acting skills, and it was immense fun.
I am never quite sure if I should say I am an introvert or an extrovert, as I can be either one just depending on my mood. I like to be quietly noticeable, let's say ;P Overall I think there needs to be balance with everything, and am definitely a versatile guy (take that as you will).
But aside from all that boring stuff, in truth, I really love to have fun and enjoy myself with others. I have a witty, occasionally dry, sarcastic or even silly sense of humour, fostered by all the British comedy programs I'd watch. Whether it be at a small cute café or a bustling night club, if I have my friends I am enjoying myself.
And I love video games. They encompass so much of my childhood it would be difficult to describe it if it were omitted. For many years I played through the Ratchet & Clank franchise countless times and that kind of space-agey, crazy weapon designs and laugh out loud comedy really defined in me what I liked. I even had a Tumblr blog dedicated to the series.
I have a few side interests which I love to read about and discover new things about when I can: Psychology, linguistics, esoteric symbolism, gaming industry, fashion industry, animation, coding, physics, dance... Talk to me and I'm sure more will reveal themselves.
I'm also told that I am quite mature for my age (as well as mistaking me to be 2-4 years older than I am), which I think is true. I seem to 'fit' in a lot better with people a bit older than me, even if it's just a simple conversation, I find people my age a bit immature.. but I occasionally find people who are very interesting to talk to whatever age they may be.
Also if I leave you a star rating, I like your profile but I am not sure you'd be interested.. but if you you're interested back then message me! :-)
