My self-summary
My name is David. I love talking to new people and hearing their side of things, it's probably my favorite part of my job. I like to investigate both sides of the issue at hand and I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt.
What I’m doing with my life
I like to try new things and see new places so I can widen my view of the world. If I feel stuck in the same rut too long, it's important to shake things up and chase away that feeling of getting stagnant.
On my days off I'm likely spending time outside, exploring my new neighborhood, setting up my apartment, or trying out a new recipe.
I’m really good at
I love cooking for myself and others. Karaoke is super fun but I find I need a little courage(booze) before I get on stage, haha.
The first things people usually notice about me
My freckles and ghostly white complexion. Kind of a ginger.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've been reading a lot of classics lately, mostly because they're free on my phone. I just finished Tarzan of the Apes, before that was The Invisible Man, The Time Machine, and Treasure Island.

The Marvel movies have been pretty good. I'm a total wuss when it comes to horror movies but I've gotten better at making my high pitched squeals sound as manly as possible :)

Looking forward to Game of Thrones coming back soon! House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Community, and Parks and Rec are all excellent. I've liked Star Trek since I was a kid.

Andrew Jackson Jihad, Josh Ritter, Marvin Gaye, Run The Jewels, Rhymefest, The Protomen, Super Mash Bros, and 30's/40's jazz standards all get a fair bit of airtime.

I like most foods as long as it's fresh. At the grocery store, I shop the perimeter and avoid the aisles for the most part. At restaurants I like to try things I haven't tried before and most of the time it pays off.
The six things I could never do without
Good company
Good food
Background music

It's a little embarrassing. See the "most private thing I'm willing to admit" section.
On a typical Friday night I am
Not doing anything special, I work on Saturdays. I could be doing the dishes, playing games with some friends, cooking, or watching Netflix. The one certainty is that I will be staying up way too late.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a total Star Trek nerd, probably more than I should be.
