Always looking for the next big adventure. After going through most of my 20s semi-oblivious to the gripping world around me, and how much awesome it encompasses, I've taken a more "grab life by the horns" approach. Which has lead me to explore more: everything from jumping out of planes to reading more to taking in more of what DC has to offer, as well as a bit more travelling.

Professionally speaking, after a decade of going through the process of elimination for "what I want to be when I grow up", and narrowing my life passions - I quit my day job to take some prereqs, pursue my childhood dreams and head to medical school. After spending a year of taking classes, filling out applications, doing interviews and getting accepted, I decided to change course and instead head to grad school. I'm currently in the awkward/transitional period where I'm waiting to start school in the fall. In the mean time, I'm doing some substitute teaching for fairfax county. (Yup, i'm that guy!)

People watching, sarcasm (I hope), making normal situations awkward, relating anything to a 90's or early 2000's sitcom, being a friend, talking about anything, listening...

I think I can make a decent meal from random things I find in a normal kitchen's refrigerator and pantry. (Think Chopped.)

I'm either super friendly and outgoing, or more on the quiet and reserved side of the spectrum. it depends on what kind of feedback i get from the scene i'm in.

I've been told I'm an "old soul" by a few people. No clue what the means, or if it was a compliment or jab....but, whatever.

Shows - Love the 90's sitcoms....Friends, Seinfeld, Fresh Prince...and occasionally an episode of Full House, Boy Meets World and Family Matters. But, also stay up to date with my current ones. Dexter, Homeland, Modern Family, New Girl, Daily Show and SNL have season passes on the DVR (as does the new 90210....don't ask. they hooked me.) Note: I don't consider myself a TV junkie, but use it as motivation when I'm on the treadmill or attempting to work out. OH, and sometimes I'll channel flip between Food Network and the Pawn Stars/Storage Wars type shows on History or Discovery or whatever they're on.

Movies - Like comedy (Old School, Hangover, Happy Gilmore types) and recently have gotten into the more drama/dry humor type of movies (think 50/50 and Jeff Who Lives At Home type). But, love the classic action movies....Bond and Die Hard? Yes, please.

Music - Do it all. Been to a few rock, folk, reggae, rap, indie, EDM, and country shows. Love putting my iPod on shuffle.

Books: Currently reading A Quiet Mind by Kay RedField Jamison.

Food: I love food, and need to control myself when around it - it's like a bad addiction. Recently on a neapolitan pizza craze.

(However, 7-11, chuck e cheese, taco bell and moby dick will always have a special part of my heart.)

Family/friends, internet/dvr, caffeine, transportation of some sort, music, flip flops, warm weather and hot sauce (I put that shit on everything!)

Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton underpants. But I sort of think, well, maybe they're silk panties...maybe it's a thong. Maybe it's something really cool that I don't even know about." A staple in the repertoire of quotes.

This one's a tough one, each one is so different. It could be any one, or combination, of the following: dinner with the family, going for a run, meeting friends out, visiting a friend/cousin somewhere outside of the DC-metro area, catching a show of some sort, watching a sporting event with friends somewhere, the DC lounge scene....or something else...perhaps using a Groupon or Living Social I impulsively bought.
