I'm 27. I started this account a few years ago and was apparently short sighted. And have not actually started using it until recently. But OK Cupid won't let me change my username unless I pay them. And I'm not about to pay.

I'm originally from LA. I moved here for college and have stuck around. I like politics, food trucks, art, theatre/film, wine and cheese, small dogs and scented bath soaps.

I work as a political consultant and do lots of activism. I blog occasionally, tweet often and spend way too much time eating at the incredible DC Food Trucks.

I'm not going to describe myself as masculine or smart or funny or outgoing or any of those other commonly used descriptors. Mainly because we all know everyone lies about them.

I do new media at a Democratic/progressive consulting firm. I do communications and grassroots organizing for the DC Food Trucks. The food is making me fat. I do a lot of LGBT, education and environmental activism. I also volunteer for a number of other causes. Sometimes I find time to go to farmers markets. And apparently, I try my hand at online dating. So far I'm not very good at it.

I'm a pretty good cook. I often throw dinner parties. I'm also kinda good at the twitter.

I'm not good at sticking to salad diets. I get bored.

My hair...I think. I can't remember noticing myself for the first time.

Politics. I spend lots and lots of time. I also spend lots of time thinking about Glee. And there are those joyous occasions when the two are together.

So, I do like going out to bars. But I don't like going out dancing. So if I'm out, it's not at a club. Or I'm home. I go out a lot during the week, so I like to lay low on weekends.

I have a hitchhikers thumb. Not that I use it to hitchhike. That I won't admit.
