I'm more than likely one of the most unique, interesting people
you'll ever meet! (actually, now that I've read so many of your
profiles, I'm convinced some of YOU are the most unique,
interesting people ever. And i would love to meet you!) But here's
an attempt to show you a sliver of who i am: Cowboy/farmer,
philosopher, poet, chef, outdoor enthusiast, entrepreneur,
activist, sports fan, seeker of life, hunter, and all around good
guy. I live, I love, I laugh, and generally try to ENJOY what life
has to offer. I believe in kindness, gratitude, hard work, growth,
chivalry, free thought, charity, forgiveness, Hope, and love. And
about a million other things. I also have moments where i curse
like a sailor, get mad, or sad, and man, have i made some mistakes!
Just like everyone else. Lets stop trying to sell each other on
some fantastical version of ourselves and start being real, right?
I mean, I'm not Gandhi or anything...although there are worse
people to try and emulate.
I'm an open book, love adventures and always willing to make new
friends, so if you have any questions or would like to meet up
sometime, drop me a line, I'd love to meet you! (Especially if you
have something interesting/exciting to do!) And if i don't respond
immediately, please understand I'm a busy guy, but I do make an
effort to respond to every message.
What I’m doing with my life
Learning it's actually MY life and owning it, finally. Living it.
Moving forward. Growing as much as I can!
I’m really good at
Being me! I'm better at it than anyone I've ever met!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd guess my cowboy boots...I wear them everywhere! (except the
gym...boots = difficulty running)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- Beat down to my soul, Elegant universe, The little prince,
the prophet, restaurant at the end of the universe, anything by
Cussler, Heinlein, or Salvatore. I crave knowledge and good
literature, so feel free to offer suggestions!
I don't watch much TV, it takes away from time you could be living!
That said, if I'm near one long enough, I might just get sucked in,
especially if it's funny, educational, or sci fi.
There is no food I don't like or at least won't try, except
applesauce. I'm traumatized over that one...long story.
Love music. (Almost) All genres.
The six things I could never do without
Besides air, water, food, shelter, family, and emotional
I would have to say the mountains/snow, sunrise/ sunset on the
prairie, the smell after it rains, music, free-thought, and uh, um,
...lamps. Don't judge, mental roadblock.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm normally thinking about: work. What I would like to spend
that time thinking about: how incredible life truly is, our
individual experiences and how they shape us, permaculture,
sustainability, local issues, global issues, science, love,
religion, the importance of community, our obligation to be
involved in the democratic process...I've gotta stop, this could go
on for days!
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical? Can't say there's much of that in my life!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
You're awesome, exciting, entertaining, intelligent, fearless, and
want to share that with someone who will appreciate it!
