My name's Chuck, and I'm an IOE major at the University of Michigan, and I work so I can afford the rest of my course. I'm a member of a jazz band, and I play Bari Sax, which I rock out on. I love to travel, and I'll just get in a car and go on a whim.

I'm studying ergonomics and industrial engineering at U of M. It's boring, but fulfilling. I'm going to be a mad scientist in a few years.

My eyelashes (random, right?), on no less than 4 specific occasions in the last year I was told I have "stunning" eyelashes. Including one recently where my boss noticed them. Awkward.

I have an extensive collection of movies, and am down to watch pretty much anything. My favorites include Pulp Fiction, The Matrix, pretty much anything from Christopher Nolan (Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises, Inception), The Departed, and the Boondock Saints. I have a particular weakness to horror movies, especially hilariously bad ones. Examples include anything by Bruno Mattei, John Carpenter, or any of the many slasher sequels from the 80s.

I love a lot of shows like Breaking Bad, Dexter , Top Chef (and all the variants). My favorite things ever on TV were Lost, Twin Peaks, The Sopranos, and The X-Files.

I like a lot of music, too much to put here. Indie rock and electronica are trending high right now with me. And Ke$ha. Have an open mind.

My favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut. I also like Joseph Heller's Catch-22. I recently found out I like reading Tang dynasty poetry from China and Heian Japanese literature.

I eat a lot of different stuff, but my favorite food is probably Sushi, followed by the french dip sandwich and all its variants. I walked 3 miles in the Chicago area looking for a Philly Cheesesteak once. It should also be mentioned that I used to cook in a restaurant for my job, and know my way around a kitchen. I make all sorts of food, and really enjoy figuring out how to cook in a style I've never cooked before. I should probably audition for Top Chef, lol.
