My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an artsy-creative type looking for somebody adventurous, sweet-hearted, passionate about the arts, willing to travel, and open-minded.

"The mind is like a parachute. If it is not open, it will not work."
-Frank Zappa.

I have a good heart and good intentions and believe true relationships take time to develop. I only have a few close friends in my life, but to me that is better than having lots of bad friends.

I like to partake in video games new & old, reading and making comics, music, concerts, playing guitar, coffee, cooking, and movie marathons. I'll admit I am quite introverted on some days, but I balance a fairly healthy social life with a tight group of friends on a weekly to bi-weekly basis.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a part-time freelance cartoonist, caricature artist and commercial illustrator with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. I studied graphic design in college, and worked a few jobs as a designer. After too many bad experiences, I dropped interest in that career route in order to completely focus on studying and practice illustration through self-taught methods and hands-on help from other illustrators as mentors.

I'm a self-published comic book artist & writer. I guarantee you've never heard of me or my work though because the audience is still very small. I'm currently working on my first professional comic project in collaboration with a screen-writer and producer, other than my own independent projects.

Illustration isn't my full-time gig yet, though. I do work a day job while keeping up with my own projects. This is a career that takes time, persistence, and patience to achieve. If being rich and having a pretentious career is a priority of yours, then we aren't going to mesh together.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing, cooking, guitar, as well as keeping people entertained. I try not to be boring, but sometimes I catch myself slipping...

But seriously, I would love to date somebody who likes it when people cook for them. I find cooking very enjoyable.

My protruding Adam's apple and booming deep voice are pretty noticeable. I'm fairly private. Sometimes hermit-like. I barely use social media anymore. I think Facebook is nothing but a ego-boosting hub of narcissism and a heavy invasion of privacy.

I've been told that I have a bizarre sense of humor, and that I am very blunt. I'm not afraid to speak my mind or voice my opinion when I feel it is necessary to do so.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm a very avid reader. Primarily graphic novels & comics. But I enjoy all sorts of genres. I don't watch cable TV at all. I watch older shows or films on Netflix. Animation is my favorite film genre. I do like some anime but I'm very selective about it.

Asking me about my favorite music is a tough question, because I love so many bands and artists. You'd have to ask me directly for a proper list but I'll go with Frank Zappa as my all-time favorite musician. And if you don't know his music, let's just say it's an acquired taste.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee. It makes you poop
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All of the great blessings in my life I don't feel like I deserve to have.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
By myself in my basement art studio drawing and listening to records. It's not that bad, really! I rather enjoy having some time to myself sometimes to get work done.

Or if my schedule syncs up with my friends' schedules, we all go out and get together for food, drinks and go to fun events with each other.
