My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Greetings. I currently work as a professional cartoonist in Royal Oak, drawing caricatures as my current job. It's a lot of fun and one of the better jobs I've had.

Comic books/graphic novels and pop culture are my life. Sequential art is a very important part of my life and a very misunderstood form of literature. I would hope you think so too, or that I could open you up to it. I suppose you can call me a "nerd" if that is what you choose to perceive me as. I usually classify a nerd as somebody who has a high obsession or interest in certain subjects. Honestly, I think everybody has a bit of nerd in them and doesn't want to admit it.

I'm a huge concert goer and very into my music tastes. I probably attend at least 20-30 shows a year.

If you'd like to know more, or think we have a lot in common please say hello.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently develop a comic book series which I self-publish locally and tour around the U.S. and to Canada to sell and promote. After this current series' run, I plan to pursue a big graphic novel I've been writing on the side.

I have a Bachelors in Fine Arts and concentrated in graphic design in college. Before graduation, I worked as an intern graphic designer and a freelancer for a short period of time but it gave a sour taste in my mouth and made me grow to hate it. I like to stay ambitious and busy so I'm currently focusing on developing a full-time illustration career by practicing my craft on a daily basis. I also dabble in writing, and hope to get into storyboarding for animation gigs or published works in the future when I've built up some more experience.

I play guitar and took lessons for several years. It's just a fun hobby for me though.

I'm dying to travel a lot more. I think it's important for everybody to get out of their comfort zone. I've stayed in mine far too long.

Those are the most significant things I can think of. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll happily answer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing, cooking, playing guitar, listening, as well as keeping people entertained. I try not to be boring, but sometimes I catch myself slipping...

Let me cook for you sometime. I have a lot of fun doing it and I make some tasty meals!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm shy and reserved (at first).
I'm fairly private. I barely use social media anymore.
I look like a stereotypical hipster (but I swear it's not my intention)
I have a bizarre sense of humor.

I'm a very avid reader. Primarily graphic novels & comics. But I enjoy all sorts of genres. I don't watch cable TV at all. I watch older shows or films on Netflix. Animation is my favorite medium. I do like some anime but I'm very selective about it.

Asking me about my favorite music is a tough question, because I love so many bands and artists. You'd have to ask me directly for a proper list but I'll go with Frank Zappa as my all-time favorite musician. And if you don't know his music, let's just say it's an acquired taste.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lots of things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All of the great blessings in my life I don't feel like I deserve to have.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In my basement art studio drawing and listening to records.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm VERY, very...shy and always nervous about initiating conversation.
