I'm the curious, try everything, type 'a guy. While I do hold onto my weathered truths and beliefs strongly, I'm always open to a fresh perspective on things. But above all, I have a tendency to just flow with life and not freak out over anything.

Studying hard, playing hard. Doesn't get much more simple than that. I should note that I plan on studying abroad for year somewhere in East Asia in about 3 years or so.

Piano, listening to other people, and solving problems.

There's quite a few good movies out there, so I'll name a few that come to mind, V for Vendetta, Beautiful Mind, The Dark Knight, basically any type of mystery or good action flick. As for books, throw me any Clive Cussler, Orson Scott Card, and any book that you think is amazing. There's way too many good music artists out there, but I'm particularly fond of the happy hardcore (rave) genre with artists like Scott Brown and Kevin Energy. I've always wanted to learn how to Waltz though. The dance is always so simple, yet carries about it a graceful atmosphere unmatched by anything. Although it doesn't fit under books, movies, music, or food, I do like backpacking in the wilderness once or more every month.

Why people do what they do and what they will do. It's actually quite amusing to predict the next days events and see how close I come. I think about politics a decent amount, I mean, whose life isn't affected by it, right? Other than that I try to just flow with the day and what it brings.

you live in or around Portland and are looking for friends to hang or such. But if you're the romantic type don't worry, I'm also down for looking for that someone on this site too.
