My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a 2L at GMU's Law School, work as a law clerk at a criminal defense firm, and I also write for a small sports website, doing articles on the NFL. BA in Political Science. Living near DC is great, the options available are endless, so when I'm not busy with school I'm usually out with friends somewhere between the Ballston Metro and Eastern Market.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Law school and trying to claw my way towards my dreams in life. It's kind of a pain sometimes, but hey, that's how it goes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...hmm, not sure "really good." Somewhat better than passable at enough things is more like it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, probably how I look, which is fair, that's the first thing they see. Beyond that, it depends on where the conversation goes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Current Fix: House of Cards. Sweet fancy Moses, House of Cards.

Haven't read many books for myself lately. Law school textbooks do NOT qualify as favorite. Read through the first two Song of Ice and Fire Books, and half of the third (before I got too busy and couldn't finish it before the show). Hopefully I can read the 4th before next year rolls around (bracing for deaths and all that...I just assume it's everyone). Lovecraft, Brown, and Rowling are three authors whose works I've read a fair amount of in the recent (but sadly not too recent) past.

Movies: Fifth Element, Jurassic Park, Nolan Batman Trilogy, Meals on Wheels (best Jackie Chan fight scene ever), Inception, Starship Troopers, James Bond movies, The Princess Bride, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, know what, let's just say Tarantino. I'll pretty much watch any genre though in the right setting.

Shows: HIMYM, GoT, Dr.Who, Walking Dead, Mad Men, anything else that catches my eye. Football or hockey will be watched as well consistently, as well as baseball and basketball sometimes. I will drop everything short of saving lives and watch the Redskins if they're on.

Music: A lot of top 40 stuff, because I haven't had time to explore less mainstream artists recently. However, that isn't to say I don't appreciate them. The biggest thing for me is the general beat.

Food: I'm definitely a meat and potatoes guy, but me and broccoli are on good terms.

Sports: I work out most days of the week, schedule permitting. I play on the law school club-like teams for fun when they're in season. Teams I follow, fan of the Redskins and Capitals, and Yankees/Nationals. I follow a few more but those are the ones I root for.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water, clothes, house, my car, friends, and my laptop.

Especially my laptop. And my phone. Something with internet access.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how sweet it'll be watching DJax catch bombs from RGIII this year.

Also, law school stuff, but that's boring.

Oh, and when I can go to brunch next, because brunch is awesome but as per HIMYM going with a bro is a no-go.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
well, because THIS genius decided to take a class on Friday evenings so he could "work" and "have a 'better' future" (pfft), that's half the night.

The other half is probably out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am terrible at Ruzzle, but can't stop playing it.
