My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Brand new to this. I've lived all over. South Africa, Australia, CT, MASS, CA then NYC. I cook (well), I'm a gardening nerd and New Orleans jazz is on heavy rotation on my record player right now. Jazz, The Band and a side of the Beatles. I go through odd stages of being obsessed with France. Day dreamer. Chelsae Market is my happy place but people that use the term "foodie" upset me. Bit of a hopeless romantic & Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year.

Brand new to CT
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Chasing my dream as a Landscape architect. Was in publishing with Vice, then the record industry in artist management & event production, fashion for a hot second, for the past two years I was GM at Sway (nightclub down on Spring St). I also work with troubled kids each summer, takes a knuckle head to know one.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Shaking ass, throwing random french day picnics on piers, China town strolls, enjoying the rain, dinner and I'm oddly proficient with a shotgun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The odd inflections I place on certain words. Curse of being raised abroad.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Pablo Neruda, Amelie, Annie Hall, Hud, Caddyshack, Ghost busters, any John Hughes, Love Actually, A Very Long Engagement, Royal Tenenbaums, Nowhere in Africa. Anything food related a la Ruth Reichl, cook books (slowly conquering the Thomas Keller trilogy), sucker for Peter Beard (i will own one one day) & Soul, Standards, Beirut, anything by Louis Armstrong, 60's & 70's peppered with a little Guns & Roses (appetite)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A wooden spoon, record player, my garden, the kruger national park, family & npr on a sunday afternoon.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My garden, whats for dinner & the Knicks (I have an ugly relationship with the Knicks). Trying to shoot this from the hip.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cooking, drinking wine & listening to Louis Armstrong.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have been known to save drowning insects in swimming pools.

If your idea of a Saturday afternoon well spent is casually strolling through a farmers market figuring out what to make for dinner quickly followed by a drink to ponder our plan of attack for the meal.

And if your kinda a smart ass.

So far ct freaks me out, just sayin. If you feel like a fish out of water also.
