My self-summary
I'm fascinated by pretty much everything. Sort of like how crows are into shiny things. Except more abstract. And less shiny.

I make my money as a graphic designer at a progressive non-profit.

I live and work in an art collective. We practice collective living and consensus-based decision making. If you follow art in DC, you've probably been inside my house.

My partner and I are exploring and learning about polyamory together. So far, it's been really incredible. Not sure that I'm ready for another full on attachment, but I'm excited for new friends and intimate possibilities.

Also, I wouldn't really consider myself 'straight,' but 'bisexual' doesn't cut it for me either. I'm attracted to the more feminine part of the spectrum/cube/sphere/infinishape, but mostly I don't like to limit myself to two genders.

In General
Learning stuff. Smiling. Doubting myself, doubting my doubts, then ignoring the whole process and kicking some ass. Or failing. Usually a little bit of both.

Using whatever skills I've got to do good and have fun.

Three years ago, I was studying permaculture, running around with a crew of vagabonds, walking traintracks, living on communes, and learning how to survive in the wild. I've settled down some since then. I co-ran a floppy little theatre company for a minute, but it was mostly just an excuse to write and perform weird stuff with my friends.

Last year, I spent eight months living in McPherson Square Park, surviving on apples, bread, and delicious, delicious revolution.

Spent the last two years working as a graphic/web designer at a progressive non-profit, and the goal from here is to carve something out where I get to sustainably use more of the stuff I'm good at for social innovation.

Also working on a new play, so if you live in NY or DC, are a genius (you are), and want to get involved in something totally fun and unique, hit me up.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Most recently: Astrophysics. And playing with the idea of an astrophysics puppet show to teach kids of any age complex ideas about the nature of reality.

What the inside of that thing looks like, how it works, and how I can make it do something else.

How to convert complex, progressive ideas into something interactive and delicious for everyone

Gender, sexuality, race, poly(omni?)amory

How to use capitalism to smash capitalism

I love sound.
