My life-- in short:
-- born Brooklyn, NY ( half Italian and half German/Irish/English)
-- Catholic grade school -- Staten Island, NY (played lots of baseball - wanted to go pro - broken leg after high school changed that)
-- HS in Macomb, Illinois (downstate). Played baseball and b-ball varsity -- also played tennis) - where did I ever find time to study!!??
-- College - Univ of Illinois-- Mechanical Engr
-- work for IBM for 35+ years in Poughkeepsie, NY and Tampa -- and now retired -(you don't have to be).
My job now is: rentals and other investments (stocks, etc) - keeps me busy and off the street
-- Two beautiful daughters-- (I raised one after the divorce in 1993 (interesting stories) --

LOVE TO TRAVEL - many vacations out west to hike (Vegas, Zion, Bryce, Yellowstone -- my fav, Tetons, Glacier Ntnl Park, Banff) .. plus Aruba, St Marten, Club Med Martinique, many cruises, many trips to Europe -- over 10... Lots of fun experiences and stories!)

BEST VACATIONS SO FAR --- Italy and Switzerland and a recent wonderful trip with a close friend to North Carolina, especially white water rafting (never forget it - THE WHOLE TRIP WAS SPECIAL!!!!!)

Most fun vacation EVER!!!! - Club Med in Martinique - non-stop party for 7 days (tired now just thinking about it) Of course that seems like 100 years ago when I was much younger and much dumber.

I love to travel and have been all across Europe many times. I have taken about 10 cruises and been to many islands (Aruba, St Marten, Club Med Martinique and Puerto Rico).

I really like to go to live musical theater and movies. I used to live outside of NYC so saw many shows there before I moved to Tampa in 1991. I now live in Land O Lakes-- you know, the place they make all that butter--LOL!!

I like to dance to the oldies. I enjoy trying new things and like going to many different types of restuarants. Looking for someone to share my life, go to shows, talk because you are interesting and hold hands while strolling through our lives together.

I believe that honesty, communications , respectand caring are some of the keys to all good relationships.

I think that hugs are wonderful and can tell you so much about the person you are with.

I had a great job as a Project Manager for IBM for over 30 years and am now retired. This gives me a great deal of flexibility to be with my match whenever she has time and work on my rentals and my investments.
Want to go to Ft Desoto beach during the day--ok, let's go. Want to take a long weekend -- great, I'm there.
Want to go for a romantic walk in the woods -- of course! Want to meet for lunch - yummy!
Want to go on a 7-day cruise and snorkel and party and dance? No tango though!
Want to fly to Florence, italy for a great italian dinner? -- later......

Working as a volunteer occasionally teaching baseball skills to kids. Working on my houses. Managing investments.

Wanting to enjoy my off time with that special person for a very long time. Enjoying every day. I think that life is too short to not enjoy it to the fullest. I would love to go back to Europe for a week or two or? and do museums in Rome and Florence again. The art is amazing there especially the Uffizi and the Galleria.

I laugh often and try to make everyone around me laugh. BUT -- I can be silly at times and even crack myself up sometimes.

My sense of humor and my openness and friendly nature. I will talk to anyone anywhere. I have been known to strike up a conversation with fellow shoppers in Publix or the check out folks in all sorts of stores.

Movies-- pretty much any old 40's and 50's movies and, more recently, comedies and musicals. I love great acting like Tracy and Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, Edward G Robinson, Bogart (I love his comedies because he was good, yet so out of his normal character).

TV - scifi is fun - like Twilight Zone and One Step beyond

Music -- mostly oldies and some rock. Like to dance. Like to listen to jazz but don't know as much as I should or as I want.

Food- any kind. I can be adventureous. Ask me about eating horse in Switzerland and ground hog in Jackson Hole Wyoming!!!

Ready to go out with you to dinner and a movie or to a local production of a live musical or maybe a night at a nice place in Orlando - sometimes dancing too. I enjoy a nice restaurant and especially like the smaller family-run places with great house specialities. I love Greak and Italian food and will have bang-bang shrimp every time I go to Bonefish.

I cry at sad movies and laugh out loud at silly funny shows.
