My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been in a relationship with SidekickEmpress since October of 2011. We're polyamorous. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it's turned out to be nothing but awesome sauce. She, her husband and I are all coparenting a lovely little boy, who I adore and can't give enough kisses to.

I grew up in the North Bay and I lived in Philly for a couple years, but I have recently returned. Chorus of angels descending from the sky, etc.

I turn the nerd up to 11. I can spell sesquipedalian.

I have a degree in Audio Engineering and I work in the tech industry. My job has nothing to do with my degree... I used to have an electropop band with my sister, who's a trans woman. She once put me in drag for halloween; I make an incredible bearded lady.

I also like cute things, so send me pictures of your babies and puppies and we shall squee together. Every now and again I indulge myself a baseball game, though that's more about the warm nostalgia and memories of eating garlic fries with my Dad than the brotastic broness of broing to sports games with the bros.

Lastly, I'm pretty busy these days, but I have pockets of free time here and there, and am looking for someone to spend those pockets with. Preferably moving in some manner - walks, hikes, runs, bicycling, yoga, whatever - and preferably with someone with whom I have the possibility for some sort of physical attraction. Because touching people is fun, and so is being touched.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I run the IT department for a tech company in the financial district of San Francisco, so I am definitely one of those listless drones on BART who doesn't make eye contact with anybody in the morning. I tried talking to people for a while, but I quickly figured out that my headphones are more interesting than most of the other passengers. Oh well. Maybe I'll find a BART buddy. Maybe you're my new BART buddy. Do you /also/ commute from the East Bay to the city in the morning? Get with me, yo. We'll have an actual conversation on a public transit service. It'll shock the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tech stuff. Is the glass on your MacBook cracked? I can fix that. Outlook time not syncing to system time? Call me.

Also great at picking things up and then putting them down, reaching stuff on high shelves, snuggling, and knowing way too much about silly science fiction books/movies/video games.

I sing - I once had a scholarship to sing opera in college - and I play saxophone.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a big dude. The term "teddy bear" has been thrown around, much to the chagrin of my ego. Also, the purple haired, tattooed girlfriend is pretty hard to miss, and pretty ubiquitous in my life.

Lately I've been slowly discovering the awesomeness of weird foods. Still have a thing about mushrooms, though I know it's completely psychological. Can't eat them if I know I'm eating them.

You're a strong, intelligent woman. You're not afraid to tell me to shut the hell up. This is my only requirement. Everything else is just potential conversation starter material.

You think that if my car threw a rod in the desert and we had to fix it with parts stolen from a nearby junkyard guarded by rabid dogs and shotgun-packing gypsies that this would be a fantastic bonding experience.

You're down with the poly thing. You don't have to currently be seeing multiple people. Or ever really plan on it. But you have to be cool with me seeing more than just you.

You can answer this:

A princess is as old as a prince will be when the princess is twice as old as the prince was when the princess's age was half the sum of their present ages. How old are the prince and princess? (given that the princess is a teenager, and assuming only whole number ages.)

But really, you need to be OK with probably being just friends for the foreseeable future, because I have so little time.
