My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
When I decided to re-write this, I thought it would be fun to do so in one or two word statements. But then it started to look like a eulogy, and last time I checked, I'm not dead yet. So let's give this another try.

I love life. I have a job that I enjoy with a great company that I'm proud to work for. I live in what is quickly becoming my favorite place in the world - everywhere I go, I'm surrounded by nature. I have a great support group in my friends and family, even though they live far away. I speak fluent sarcasm and dry wit.

Of course, there's more to me than that, but I'll leave that for you to find out. I hope you're up to it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Building my career. Translation: working - a lot! But I'm fortunate enough to enjoy what I do and the company I work for, so no complaints.
Living a healthier lifestyle and undoing the damage a few years of apathy and unhealthy eating have done.
Trying to repress my introvertive tendencies and meet people that I actually want to spend time and be friends with. This was so much easier in college.
Embracing my introvertive tendencies and making cool shit in my workshop.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cracking corny jokes, working movie quotes into everyday conversation, swearing like a sailor (but don't worry, I can turn it off when the situation calls for it), and not taking myself too seriously. I'm also not half bad building things, and I'm a pretty awesome when it comes to listening.
The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. You tell me!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: Not a day goes by where I'm not listening to music - it's a vital part of my life. I listen to pretty much anything besides country. The genres I most usually find myself listening to: punk, EDM, alternative, folk, and the occasional rap/hip-hop. Don't ask me to list bands/artists that I listen to, because that might take all day.

Movies/TV: Much like music, I can spend all day listing favorite movies and TV shows. I will say that if you like The Big Lebowski, we're going to get along just fine.

Books: I'm not much of a bookworm, but a few that I've enjoyed: Ender's Game, Jurassic Park, Life of Pi.

Food: Mexican food is my weakness!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Music
- Friends & Family
- A vehicle
- My workshop (creative outlet)
- Nature
- Intimacy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I want to make next. Work. Buying a house. Where I can meet more like-minded people. How I can eat healthier while being on the road all the time. Where I want to go on vacation with all these flyer miles/hotel points I'm earning (and who I want to take with me). Getting a dog. How I can manage to stay in the PNW when I'm up for my next promotion. My next workout. Sex, and why it's still such a taboo subject. Why America's political system is so fucked up. How religion continues to be so prevalent in today's modern times.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing something fun while wondering what it's like to have a "typical" Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

You're sick of all the games and you're looking to get to know a good guy. Let's grab a drink and get to know each other. We could become good friends, be the ones we've both been looking for, or not click and go our separate ways. Either way, no pressure!

Bonus points if you:
- are as crazy about music as I am
- love the outdoors and all the activities they present
- have a favorite place in the Portland area you want to show me
- are a redhead. There's just something about you gingers that drives me nuts...
