My self-summary
Hey, I'm Daniel. I've lived in the Seattle area my whole life and I love it here!

I work as a client applications specialist for a software company, but when I'm not doing that I like to go rock climbing (I try for twice a week!) EDIT: I haven't gone rock climbing in months, and am in need of a climbing partner to get me back into it!, hiking, go to concerts, eat good food, watch educational (or not so educational) television or documentaries, read (everything), play video games, generally nerd out (I like nerdy things).

Maybe we share some interests, in which case you should message me and we'll see where that goes. Maybe you think everything I like sucks, then you should message me anyways, because who knows, maybe opposites really do attract (they do).
What I’m doing with my life
Working, playing, relaxing.
I’m really good at
Marathon-watching entire series on Netflix in a matter of days.
The first things people usually notice about me
That i'm ambiguously ethnic. You have three guesses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Chuck Palahniuk, Haruki Murakami, John Dies at the End, Godel Escher Bach, A Brief History of Time, American Psycho, Wonderland Avenue, books about addiction, and books on science!

Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Arrested Development, The Walking Dead, Scrubs, Louie, Parks & Rec, The Mighty Boosh, Weeds, Californication, Archer, Firefly, Futurama, Always Sunny, Wonder Showzen

Also, all sorts of science or nature documentaries!

All of it. I can find something I like out of any genre. Music is just good. I'm always inclined to listen to more EDM than anything else though, preferably the heavy stuff =)

Podcasts: Savage Lovecast, This American Life, Radiolab, The Moth, Snap Judgment, Stuff You Should Know, The Nerdist, Comedy Bang Bang, StarTalk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music of all kinds
2. Something to look forward to. Upcoming show, delivery of something I ordered online, etc. Even the small things are exciting
3. My phone
4. Magic.
5. Gyros
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What deck I want to build next.
The possibilities of time travel and simulated realities.
Why there is no "shuffle play all episodes of this show" button on Netflix.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nerding out at FNM
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Bittersweet, or romantic love scenes in movies make me tear up really easily. Don't judge me.
You should message me if
you think I seem awesome. (I am)
