My Self-Summary
Just from the times of laughter, the times of sadness, feelings of jealousy, and betrayal, I often find myself asking more questions. What would happen if we were never given life, to experience these emotions? This gift that we were given, to sense, to feel...what if one day it just went away?
Oh here I go, getting all philosophical again. I do apologize, that's not entirely what I'm like. Along with being bestowed with these wonderful gifts like many, I've also been bestowed with the gift of imagination and music. To show my thanks for this, I show a deep appreciation and support for musicians, artists, writers, performers, and the like. I also train myself to be able to get what's out of my head onto paper...both with stories and with music (although it's much easier with stories...believe me).
My belief is that if people had more creative, imaginative minds like others that I've come across, then they would have a more open, accepting nature. There'd be less reason for silly conflicts about race, heritage, etc...because people would be taught not to close their minds off from something such as that. Hell, many of the other conflicts that happen are because some people are so afraid of change and are set in their ways till death. Which is never a good thing, since with change comes growth, and the Earth and its people, like plants, need to grow, mature, and become more beautiful than before.
With this outlook, I tend to lead a positive lifestyle, or at least I try to. While my hope for mankind continues to linger on a thread, I can happily say that it's still there. With this hope in my mind, I do my best to make others happy, even if it means making a little sacrifice such as being temporarily unhappy. But if they're happy, then I try to keep going with a smile on my face.
Now onto the less in-depth personal bit. Don't ever ask me to tell you a joke. My jokes are about as dry as the Sahara desert, and they'll only leave you with a serious/bored look on your face. However, I have a tendency to laugh at the silliest thing. Truthfully, even when someone randomly said "pudding" one time, I was laughing hard...although I don't know why. So even if to others you can't joke your way out of a paper bag, chances are you'll give me a chuckle or two.
As for hobbies, I already listed three; writing stories, creating music (though for now, it stands as writing lyrics), and just exploring and taking everything in. But I also really enjoy ice skating, ribbon dancing, rock climbing, jump roping (tricks and all), swimming, hiking, Lacrosse, Hockey (though I've never sat down and learned it, but I enjoy the hell out of it when I actually play), exercising (Which I've been pushing myself to do more), pogo sticks (so far I've made it to 50 hops without falling), biking, taking walks (which falls into exploring), video games (ones with a good story), hanging out with friends, dancing (only with friends), Karaoke (bar crowds are very supportive), Theater (though I haven't been super-active), and so on. The list goes on forever, because I'm always willing to try something new out.
Anyways, I've probably droned on and on, so if there's something you're curious about that I haven't covered in my profile, send me a PM (or IM if I'm online), or you can contact me via AIM: Leonatio Maximus, Yahoo: MaximusDelgari@yahoo.com, MSN: Gemini_Crystalrose@hotmail.com, or email (SillySora@gmail.com).
It's been fun!

Sidenote: I also tend to do sidenotes a lot. Dunno why, but it just happens.
Sindenote 2: I'm also horrible with sending first messages sometimes. I'm always afraid of sounding either incredibly cheesy or cliche, or suffering from my common foot-in-mouth syndrome. So if I send you a wink, that's my way of saying "I'm interested in your profile, but I'm afraid of sending you a message because I don't want to sound like a bumbling moron."
What I’m doing with my life
But enough about school and dreams. When I'm not at school, I'm in a variety of places depending on the day and time. Sometimes I'll head over to the Rec center on campus and have a few goes on the rock climbing wall, go ice skating in the rink (which thankfully is back up for winter), or just work out in the school gym for a little.
On lazy days, I'll either be in the computer lab working on Photoshop, working on story ideas, or at home sitting on my bed playing games, or watching movies on my computer.
Then there's days where I'll hang out with my friends, go out for some karaoke (and on some rare nights, go out and get to the point a bit before complete drunkness and have fun), go into Spokane for a walk in the park or a trip to Dempseys for karaoke down there, or whatever we decide to do.
Other than classes, I really never have a set schedule for myself. I like to relax, but I also like to wait for something to happen and go with it, or make something happen myself, and enjoy every minute of it.
Also, I'm big into working in the theater even when I'm not doing classes (which should be obvious since I'm planning on having a theater-based career). I'll audition at every play that comes up, and if I get in, put as much as possible to become the character that I'm playing. I love to work a lot of the behind the scenes stuff as well, and I hope that some day I really get the chance to direct or stage manage a show (I'm really hoping to be able to stage manage Romeo and Juliet in the winter)!
That's really it in a nutshell, ask me about anything else you want to know.
I’m really good at
Also, I think I'm pretty ok at coming up with new ideas for stories. Just not as good at finishing any of them.
Apparently I'm also good at doing 200+ Match questions in one day when I'm bored.
I'm also a really good listener. People see me as quiet a lot, but in reality, it's because I'm listening and taking everything in...either intentionally or not (depending on if I was supposed to be or not).
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Favorite movies fall around 10th Kingdom, Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Golden Compass, Uncle Buck, Labyrinth, Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Meet the Robinsons, Ever After, Star Trek, Final Destination 1, 2, and 4, Clue, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Airplane!, and a good chunk of others. I can a bit of a sucker for a good tearjerker (Pay it Forward, Titanic, etc...), and romantic movies have equal reactions of making me smile, and making me sleepy depending on the movie. Horror movies are fun to laugh at, although I will turn my head when it comes to the incredibly gory ones. Final Destination is the only set of scary movies that actually scare me.
I really don't have a really specific favorite type of music actually. I generally dislike most Rap, Hip Hop, and Country...although I have heard some good songs from each (don't ask me the names, I can't remember). I do really love listening to music by Enya, I love the good old classic Disney songs, and I'm a sucker for many different styles of original and re-done/remixed video game music (My favorite two being Smaller of Two Pieces from Xenogears, and If You Still Believe from The Legend of Dragoon). I forgot to mention that I'm also a fan of songs from Musicals, such as Defying Gravity from Wicked, music from Cinderella, Annie, and so on and suchforth.
Finally, my favorite food, is simply burgers and french fries. Although, I'm trying to change my diet and cut out the sugars and junk, since I'm trying to get myself into shape. However, steak is still on my menu of foods as well as my greens.
I guess video games should be in here somewhere, since I'm a tad of a videogameaholic. My favorites include Okami, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia I, II, and II, Kingdom Heart I, Re: Chain of Memories, and II, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Sonic the Hedgehog, Jet Set/Grind Radio & Jet Set Radio Future, Ratchet and Clank, Paper Mario, Mario RPG, Mario and Luigi RPG 1-3, and so on.
The six things I could never do without
My family--same with my friends
My books--I love to read, and some of my books are gifts from friends and relatives.
My laptop--let's face it, I'm a geek. I love gaming, which my laptop is full of games. Not to mention, it holds some good memories within it's hard drive, that I'd be devastated if they disappeared.
My mind--For one, I'd die without it, literally. But at the same time, while it has its imperfections, I wouldn't switch it with another one for the world. I enjoy the memories that I have, as well as the ideas that constantly race around in my head. I wouldn't be the same odd but friendly person that I am.
My curious attitude--I love to wonder about everything that I see, and form questions in my mind about what I see, hear, and so on. I'd hate to think what it'd be like if I ever lost that attitude, because in the end, my curious nature is a huge part of what makes me who I am.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Also, I tend to spend a lot of time thinking new ideas for stories that either are in the works, or are about to be in that moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Also, you might find me at the Rec center doing one of the activities listed in my self-summary...minus the pogo stick. I need to buy one of those.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
But just please don't try to rush things. I don't mind forward people, but I have my limits. Trust me, if I get really quiet after you've asked me something, you'll know you pushed that limit. There are things I'm fine with answering, and there are things I'm really iffy about.
But I'll leave that to you to figure out what those are.
Also, sidenote: For the older guys, I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. I have SOME exceptions as to older guys I don't mind talking to (You know who you are ^_^), but for the rest of you, unless it's just in the interest of being friends (JUST friends), then please don't even bother messaging me. My age limit stands at 18 being the lowest, and 28-29 being highest (Though I've been known to jump out of that range...but only if I feel a deep connection to the person somewhere...but anyone close to my mom's age (aka 35-40) and above...just no. Anything below 18...just no)
