Hello, my name is Michelle.

I live in Lowell, MA with my boyfriend in a quiet little apartment. We have one cat, three guitars and a lot of metal.

I am more reactionary than emotional and more often than not painfully honest with myself and others. I'm probably the person people come to most when they have a problem or need someone to listen to them. I'm probably the last person people come to for blind sympathy and acceptance of bad behavior.
I am viciously devoted to my friends and have a strong belief in social justice.

Xerox jockey. I am the sales manager for a copy and print shop. Most of my days are spent delegating and in sales and consultation. While it's not my ideal career, I am hoping that it will one day fund my inevitable return to school to become an art teacher.

Besides work I spend my free time writing, drawing and taking photos. I love to read and get lost in music while driving.

I quit smoking back in April 2009. It was a tough road, but to help motivate me I also started going to the gym. These were all necessary life-changes. After nearly losing 100 pounds I feel fantastic and run when I can and have concentrated more on weight lifting/strength training.

Food: I will try anything once. I am, however, absolutely obsessed with burritos.

Music. Soundtrack for life constantly playing in the background ranging from Death Cab for Cutie to Slayer.

Friends. We havenRockband every Tuesday filled with laughter and support, I cannot imagine living without my closest friends around me.

Family. I am very close to the family I have left and realize how precious they are to me.

Notebooks. I am always jotting down something or doodling some atrocity or another, my brain needs a place to dump the overflow sometimes.

My boyfriend. I was gonna stick him at the top of the list but it seemed kind of childish. Seriously though... I can't even describe what it's like to be in love with someone who is your best friend and then some!

Making money... yes, my obsession as of late is going back to art school and using my "talents" in a more satisfying way.
