My self-summary
My name's Dave and I'm grateful for where I am in life and what I've been able to experience. I'm one of the most laid back guys you'll ever meet; there's not a lot that bothers me.

I'm most passionate about traveling. I've circumnavigated the globe and did a long solo backpacking trip bringing my grand total to 30 countries. When I travel I often wake up early, head out to explore the local markets, natural sights, and of course street food. If you are a serious traveler, game on.

When I'm in the city I enjoy living a very active, healthy lifestyle. Hanging out in clubs and bars is not my favorite scene. I rather be out finding a wild new restaurant (tried Ghanian food recently), playing board games with friends, or hosting a dinner party.

Other things I enjoy
-Scuba diving
-Road trips
-Hammock time
-Working out
-Eating healthy
-Dinner parties
-Walking anywhere in the city
-Yankee games
What I’m doing with my life
Building bridges - literally and metaphorically - as a construction manager.

Living it up in my East Village bachelor pad filled with my collection of worldly treasures.
I’m really good at
--Quoting Dodgeball: "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball"
--Going with the flow
--Relating everything to an episode of South Park
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
FOOD: I'm an adventurous eater and will try anything twice. I've had sheep's brain, snake blood, llama and alpaca pizza, and chile fried grasshoppers just to name a few. I enjoy learning about other cultures through their food.

All the weird stuff aside, Im a recently converted health nut so i try to keep it balanced.

MOVIE: Dogma - Chris Rock, cast as the 13th apostle left out of the bible because he's black? C'mon. Hilarious.

TV: South Park, Big Bang Theory, Pawn Stars

BOOKS: Vagabonding by Rolf Potts
The six things I could never do without
--My passport
--My apartment's hammock
--Working out and living healthy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Is it too early to eat lunch?

Where to travel to next - lately I've been contemplating a Kilimanjaro trip. Am I too ambitious?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I forgot how to ride a bike
