My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In the interest of full disclosure, I am 57, but put 50 because I'm not so interested in getting a crap load of messages from octogenarians. Not that there's anything wrong with octogenarians. I happen to have 2 parents who are in their 80's....but I wouldn't want to date their peers. So....I put 50 because I'd rather date someone in their late 40's to late 50's and when a guy in that age range does a search, I feel like they probably stop at 50 a lot of times. Then when they see my real age, they can decide for themselves. I know a lot of people do this (although most don't disclose it in their profiles), and for anyone who thinks this is deceitful, well, you're not for me....obviously. So, first and foremost, if you're still hung up on your ex gf, fiancé or wife, please pass me by. I'm only interested in those who are emotionally available. Ok...me. I'm far from perfect. I stay up way too late, I have a voracious appetite for sweets...especially baked goods, I'm a little heavy on the pedal, although I haven't had a ticket in years, I probably watch too much tv, especially during the cold months, I don't cook, I curse too much (although I know when NOT to), I tend to run a little late, and I can be a bit chatty...I was voted most loquacious in the 5th grade.....idk...is that a good thing or a bad thing? I also have my quirks. Example: I won't walk around barefoot EVER....not even in my own home, although it is clean. On the other hand, I think I'm a good Mom, I have a wonderful relationship with my 22yr old son, who is the reason I breathe air. I adore my friends, I have a good sense of humor and REALLY appreciate someone who can make me laugh. I think I'm reasonably intelligent, I can mix pretty well with almost any crowd, I'm not shy, I say what's on my mind. I don't like to fight or scream, but if I'm mad about something, I don't keep it bottled in....I tell you. Sometimes I may raise my voice, I'm not perfect. But I am fun. I don't do boring. So, if all that hasn't scared you....please read on. I'm now going to list the things I like to do, so if you write me, please don't ask me what I like to do. That leads me to believe you haven't READ my profile, just looked at the pics...you know...like a toddler who likes "picture" books. I love the Ravens, the O's, I like to go out dancing occasionally, white beaches with turquoise water, being from Baltimore, love eating crabs and the rest is just the usual....music, concerts, festivals, movies, dining out or hanging in.....you know the drill. I have been parasailing, snorkeling and skydiving...each once, so I can't say they're hobbies, but I loved them all, especially the skydiving. Most fun I've ever had in my life. I'm obviously looking for someone I'm attracted to, but I'd like to find someone with some substance also, who perhaps shares some of my interests. A great sense of humor doesn't hurt either. Not looking for a hook-up, so you "playas" can pass me by too. I am a liberal & from past experience I can say-right wingers need not apply. Just doesn't work for me. I'm more spiritual than religious, but I do consider myself "culturally Jewish". I don't put much stock in organized religion as I believe that it has done more to create hatred, bigotry & war than anything else I can think of. Well....that's all folks....except....THANKS TO MY O'S FOR A GREAT SEASON! WE'LL GET 'EM NEXT YEAR!!! :) And GO RAVENS!!!
