My Self-Summary
I am a simple man of simple tastes.
While I do not practice Radical Honesty, I try to be honest in my relationships. As I've told almost every woman I've been involved with, I can handle anything but lies.
I am no longer the hormone-driven adolescent. I enjoy sex, in many ways, shapes, and forms, but it is not the driving force in my life. Nevertheless, I can say with all requisite humility I'm good at giving a woman pleasure.

What I’m doing with my life
I've spent the last several years as a full-time house-husband,
keeping things going for my wife and daughter on the home
front.
My New Year's resolution is to become more social; I've always been something of a homebody, and I don't think it's really been good for me. (Please note I'm steadfastly avoiding terms like "quiet" and "loner" and "keeps to himself". Somehow they've kind of become, umm, pejorative.)
In terms of hobbies and pastimes, I enjoy the SCA, other historical recreation, sewing, woodworking, and writing fiction. I'm currently researching an alternate history novel concerning the assassination of Joseph Stalin.

are probably my hair and beard. My hair is currently about as long
as it's ever been, down to the bottom of my shoulder blades.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Of books there are entirely too many to list here. Favorite authors
include Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Terry
Pratchett, Spider Robinson, and Harry Turtledove. I've just
recently finished Neal Stephenson's "Baroque Cycle" and then of
course I had to re-read "Cryptonomicon".
Movies are similar; I like just about anything except Westerns, but even there there are exceptions; "Silverado" was a great piece of filmmaking. More likely choices would be historical dramas, science fiction epics (wish they'd make some good ones), romantic comedies, and suchlike.
Music preferences vary with activity. When I'm working at the computer, I like classical. Driving; classic rock. Most any old time; filk.
I love Italian food, Chinese is great, fake Mexican (e.g. ChiChi's) is okay.

The six things I could never do without
Aside from the absolute necessities (air, food, water) I need a
goal, a good book, time to devote to each, a good cup of chai, the
people I love, and bodies of water. (Great for contemplation.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How we're gonna fix the mistakes of the Bush years. I'm very
interested in politics, and my worst fears of 2000 weren't bad
enough.
I also think about different social structures. I support gay marriage, and I also support plural marriage. Why shouldn't three people be allowed to marry? Or four? Or any other number?
