What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working at a zoo, teaching children about animals!

I'm also studying for the GRE, learning sign language and guitar, and doing a lot of paintingplaying lots of video games. :c
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the spot on any dog that makes its leg go all
Thumper
.

I don’t mean to brag, but I also know all the words and can do all the voices to One Jump Ahead from Aladdin. Get in line, boys.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People have said that I have a very expressive face, sometimes almost cartoonishly expressive. It makes me a pretty open book.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: Grunge and rock (Queens of the Stone Age is my favorite band), fun stuff (Scissor Sisters, Adam Lambert, Jamiroquai), everyone who will be at PiqNiq.

Books: Sci Fi (Ray Bradbury is my favorite author), fun stuff (Neil Gaiman, faddy young adult things like Hunger Games). I just finished Room and am starting Good Omens!

Shows: Firefly, Sherlock, Doctor Who (gosh, I am typical, let’s see…), competitive design shows like Face Off and Project Runway, shows with neat creatures like Falling Skies and Grimm. Fun stuff (Kimmy Schmidt, Parks and Rec)

Food: Anything that isn’t spicy. I am a huge fan of trying new (non-spicy) things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Dogs
Mangoes
Meat (I've learned that about half of the people I meet think I’m a vegetarian before they know my diet)
Rain and/or thunder
Articulation (I can sometimes speak…rather quickly)
Lying around in a pile with people and/or animals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How most teleporter designs would require a complete dismantling of your body and a copy being created elsewhere. They would kill you and just make a perfect replica of you that would continue living your life. And people talk about wanting them to be invented like it ain’t no thang!

I also think a lot about what aliens are doing right now and how disappointed I am that I don’t live in the far future and can’t have alien and/or robot friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was like fifteen I decided that I really wanted to teach myself to sleep with one eye open. Every night, I would lie down in my bed with just my left eye closed and try to compel sleep to come. I never once slept with one eye open and ultimately never developed the habit (thank god), but the time that I spent trying actually fortified the muscles in my face necessary to raise one eyebrow, which I’d never been able to do before! So I almost taught myself to do something really weird and creepy and accidentally taught myself to do something awesome!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You openly enjoy musicals (secretly enjoying them is alright too, I guess) (even just tolerating my love of them is nice, actually).

You like to gush about science and technology in general terms and can teach me about them in technical terms.

You are kind and genuine and open. I like that.
