My self-summary
I am probably going to be the person who's answered the most questions on this site. Currently 2500 and counting!

In all fairness, it should probably be mentioned that I'm doubting my sexuality. I'm thinking I might not be bi or pan like I had originally thought, but on the asexual spectrum instead. If this doesn't scare you away, then I'd be happy to explore with you and figure this out more concretely.

Above all, I look for creativity and joy in everyday moments in partners. I also appreciate intelligence while not believing that school grades are necessarily the total representation of it.

I really value education, though, and if I meet somebody who intentionally ignores proper grammar, it bothers me. If you don't care about your words- and the words you speak are so important- then you don't fit what I need.

I think the key to a successful relationship is a strong friendship to start it. :) If you can be bff with your lover, then you have the basis for a great relationship.

With me, honesty is always the best policy. The only time you should ever lie is if you're doing it to protect someone else. Lying for your own sake is wrong and selfish. I don't easily forgive liars, but I do forgive people who are honest- especially if they're being honest while they apologize.

In my free time, I like to draw and paint. Reading, writing, art, and role-playing also take up a large part of my leisure time. In general, I just like to be creative. It would be fantastic if I meet someone who's just as creative as I am and can push me artistically to be the best I can be. :D

Family is important to me, and the best times of my life are when I'm acting like a complete goofball with my siblings and we laugh until we cry. ♥

To know more about me, feel free to ask. I'm certainly not shy. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Graduated college with a BS in Psychology and am now going to go back to school, in Library Science so I can become a librarian. Job hunting with just the BS is impossible.

I'm currently learning Arabic, my family's language (Lebanese dialect), and planning on learning Italian. I may or may not add Japanese to this list, too. I like how it sounds.

Before I'm 30, I'd like to have at least one completed graphic novel/webcomic project, drawn and written by me. So far, I have the ideas and the characters sketched out, but I'm looking for the time(/motivation) to go further with it. I don't feel like I have the story 'right' yet.
I’m really good at
Thoughts and thinking. I once was told I should be a philosophy major, but I found too much self-importance in philosophy, so I studied Psychology instead. Understanding why people do things and how they feel comes naturally to me. I'm a very feeling person.

I think I'm also pretty decent with art and school, and by school, I mean I've been able to master the ins-and-outs of getting good grades. Retaining information is still beyond me, sadly.

As an art sample for the curious, I have this doodle to link to. And, eh, I like you, so you can see this.

I'm also excellent at turning nouns into verbs. I take time to art every day, except when my sister calls "attention me!"
The first things people usually notice about me
I say what's on my mind and though I do it as politely as possible, I don't go out of my way to mince words.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I suppose it kind of... well, sucks, that my favorites are limited to vapid-type pop culture things, but I do love music and food, so I can bear with the rest. ;)

As for music, my Last.FM page should explain all I have to say. :) (Why yes, I am being lazy about this part of my profile! To say all I wanted to say about music would take CENTURIES, otherwise.) It should be noted that I mostly use Last.FM to lull me to sleep, though.

For books, my favorite is Jane Eyre in the fiction category. In non-fiction, I love Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything. Sadly, I don't read as much as I used to now that the Internet is a thing. I'm open to changing this, though. :) If you want to know about more books I like, you can ask! I have a whole list I'm hiding from you and everyone else on OKC, because I'm a big meanie. (But I will tell you to read Nervous Conditions, because I love that book so much it's ridiculous.)

For movies, I recently loved Benjamin Button, Despicable Me, Toy Story 3, The Road to El Dorado, Shakespeare In Love, Megamind, and The Count of Monte Cristo. I LOVE animated movies done well. Pixar is my favorite right now. I love Finding Nemo's involved storyline, I love WALL-E's cuteness (and robots are genderless, dammit-! XD), I love how nobody ever listens to Woody in Toy Story, even though he's ALWAYS right.

I also love movies that are made from books. The new Chronicles or Narnia movies are love. I love how the Prince Caspian film used the book as reference, but expanded the storyline so it makes more logical sense (and is more engrossing).

I dislike Western movies for the most part. Most stuff made in the 50s just bugs me. I'm not sure why. I think it's the general mood of "oh, nothing bad ever really happens" that irks me. It also feels like a story. Nothing about any of the movies I've been forced into watching feels like real life.

In webcomics (which I LOVE), my favorites are Candi, Gunnerkrigg Court, xkcd, Trying Human, Sorcery 101, Goodbye Chains, Dead Winter, Octopus Pie, Gastrophobia, U.F.O., Sister Claire, Zebra Girl,Demon Eater, Love Me Nice, Namesake, TJ and Amal (NSFW), Shadoweyes, Meaty Yogurt, Monster Pulse, No Rest For The Wicked, and Curio . The ones that are completed are Anders Loves Maria, Ugly Hill, Honeydew Syndrome / HoneySyn, and YU+ME: Dream.

I'm REALLY into webcomics. I plan on making one (or more) in the future.

In TV I don't watch so much, mostly because I rarely turn my TV on, but I like Nova, Scrubs, Invader Zim, Roseanne, Three's Company, Fraiser, Dharma and Greg, the occasional episode of How It's Made. I also like to watch HGTV, the Cooking Channel, Food Network, and The Science Channel. Discovery's turned to shit lately. Oh, and I finally caught up with everyone else and watched Avatar: The Last Airbender! SO much love for that series. And so much hate for the one following.

My favorite foods are vegetables. They're so delicious to me. I enjoy Italian food, American-Chinese food, American food, my mom's Arabic food and possibly more. I'm not averse to trying new things, as long as they're not spicy, because my tongue is a wuss.

I play video games whenever I find something that's got great story to it. But I do also play things like Pokemon and the Sims, The Sims 2, and The Sims 3. ;D My favorite genre is RPG, so it probably goes without saying that Final Fantasy games are great ones for me-- though I disagree that FF7 was the greatest one. I think 6 and 10, as well as 10-2, are great contenders. I really enjoyed The World Ends With You, but DID throw my DS down onto the bed in frustration at the ending. Superb gameplay, though. I was so excited with 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors that I finished it in a few days. I've bought a 3DS recently and plan on getting some games for that, too.

I also enjoyed Beyond Good and Evil, the Jak and Daxter series (including Jak X, which most people I talk to about it seem to hate), Trauma Center, and Yu-Gi-Oh video games (but not the card game itself. Too hard to find the good cards in person).

I'd love to have a PS3 soon, as the PS2 I have is a defunct one which barely works. A 'gift' from my family.
The six things I could never do without
Art supplies, good friends, creativity, a strong and capable mind, the internet, and good books. ♥
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My graphic novel project(s?)

Feminism and progressive such things

Science and social sciences

How the brain works and it's malleability.

Particle physics, astrophysics, and space in general.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drawing at home or reading a book. Though I'd like to go out, I don't have any specific "going out" people I know. I'm certainly not averse to the idea. ;)

I also tend to babysit my 4=5-year-old cousin. I've fallen in love with her after taking care of her almost every week over the years. She's practically my baby even though she can be a serious butthead.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm bipolar, type II. It's managed, but the stigma to mental disorders makes me hesitant to mention this most of the time. I'm working on being more open about it. If people judge me based on something I can't control, I'll know whether or not I can trust them sooner instead of later.

At this time in my life, I need to know who to trust.

EDIT: Lately, I've been thinking that maybe I have BPD, Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as the Bipolar II. Since this more strongly affects my interpersonal relationships, I figured it should be mentioned.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 18–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You really love good conversation as much as a good raucous laugh. :)

You define yourself as "weird" or "abnormal" or feel like the crowd sets itself apart from you.

You aren't afraid of a little mental illness and are aware that it doesn't define whoever has it.

You're creative and use it proudly in artwork of some type, whether written or drawn or painted. OR you really like my drawings and are creative in other ways. ;)

You want to be a pen pal! I love the idea of circumventing the globe via paper!

You're willing to make the first move. Not that I have any problems with making the first move, but I thought that when women send messages on dating sites, they get more responses than men. Oddly enough, I've made the first move most of the time I've been here and gotten few responses. lol!

Just as a note, I'm not really interested in people with less than 90% match and/or greater than 10% enemy.
