I'm passionate about a lot of things - art, documentary filmmaking, playing the piano, learning, traveling, etc.
My background is in european/middle eastern history and art, and I work as a commercial and editorial photographer. I'm inspired by personal narratives and histories (and trying to capture them) at home, and away. My current goal is to teach myself how to make a film. My hope is to combine all of the above to create social documentaries in the near future.
Currently Listening to: The Black Keys, Sigur Ros, Tricky, Frank Ocean, Jonsi, Yann Tiersen and a whole whack of classical.
Currently Reading: Everyman Dies Alone (Hans Fallada) and the New Yorker.
Inspired by: Mark Rothko, VII, Doisneau, Banksy, Edward Hopper, Street Art, Slinkachu, and every artist/person that has the guts to go and do what they want/care about.
Would love to meet someone with a great sense of humour, and passion for something, hopefully creative, but not necessary - it's nice to be engaged, and I think I'm a pretty good listener =)
