Ok, now that I see you've probably scoped out my pictures by now, I just want to say welcome to my profile! I'm glad that you've made it this far. :)

The name is Danny, and I just moved to Austin about 6 months ago and so far so good. I'm the type of guy who works really long and crazy hours, but who knows how to really chill when I do decide to take time off. I do live a fairly active life, so I like being outside instead of cooped up in the apartment. I love hiking at random parks, practicing Krav Maga, rollerblading, or working on my Jeep. When I do decide to stay at home, I like to work on creating graphics or watching a good film. Since I do work for a TV station, I tend to not watch as much of it outside of work. I usually make references to a lot of my favorite shows and movies, so if you get them then that is pretty shiny(Firefly)!

I'm open to trying just about anything since I believe that keeping an open mind in life will make you a more interesting/complete person and also help you understand other viewpoints.

Right now, I work at the local NBC television station as part of the engineering staff, and I also do some video production work at the Cedar Park Center for the Texas Stars and Austin Toros. I'm my free time I do a lot of 3d graphic design. I love being creative, I just wish my computer could keep up though.
Recently, I've started taking Krav Maga, and I'm liking it more and more everyday, because I'm learning a unique form of close combat self defense and working out at the same time. I am outdoors quite a bit whether it be hiking, rollerblading, camping, and climbing.
I'm also trying to improve my personal relationship with God. I'm not going to preach my beliefs onto anybody, and while I don't require a woman, who I am interested in, to have the same beliefs as I do, I do want them to respect them as I will to theirs.

It is probably my hair. If I had a penny for every time somebody asked me how long it took me to grow my locks, I'd be a gozillionaire(yes that number totally exists)!

I've just finished up Cold Mountain and now I'm trying to get through reading Les Miserables. I'm not gonna lie, but my favorite books are usually sci-fi related(Star Wars), so yea I got a bit of nerd in me. Can't help it!
As far as my favorite TV shows, many of them have either been cancelled(Firefly) or ran their course(Cowboy Bebop). My favorite movies include Memento, The Empire Strikes Back, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Lawrence of Arabia, Serenity, Casablanca, and the list goes on.
Musically, I'm a bit all over the map. My favorites include Tool, A Perfect Circle, Metallica, Hans Zimmer, The Beastie Boys, NIN, Coldplay, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Daft Punk, Blink 182, and the list goes on.

God, my family, my friends, my Jeep, hockey(Go Stars), and good films.

I try not to think about the world or politics too much, because I figure that even when I die, neither one of those two areas will change all that much. I have some pretty crazy awesome dreams, and I sometimes dwell on the meaning of them, but throughout the day I just concentrate on what I have to get done.

Probably just getting back in from a long hike and getting ready to go out with my friends to grab some sushi or a beer.

I have an irrational fear of wasps, because I don't believe I've actually ever been stung by one. I'm just nervous that when I do, I'm going to be super allergic to it and puff out like the marshmellow man.

you can answer me one question. Did Greedo or Han shoot first??? If you have no idea, I suggest that you guess since you have a 50-50 shot anyways. What is funny though is that 90% of the responses I get(yes, I actually get responses to this ridiculous question) end up being wrong. I recommend doing a google search.
