I'm the sort of guy who sings in the shower, and usually forgets the walls are paper thin. I'll put my heart and soul into anything I do and I do a fair amount. When I'm not making up exciting new worlds or getting lost in twisting plotlines when I'm writing, then I'm up to my knees in someone else's adventures. If I'm not up on stage putting everything into a performance, then I'm in the audience desperate to know if the hero will ever get the girl. I'll lock eyes with someone the whole time we talk, and prefer to listen and engage with people in order to learn about them. I'm a massive people-watcher and I guess that's all part of the actor in me. Like everyone, I have my moments where I prefer a little bit of solitude or peace and quiet, but even then, most people aren't surprised to discover I'm usually just lost in thought about some topic or other.
Passion and intensity I guess are the key elements, but I'm not one of these overly flamboyant personalities. I'm a little bit like my favourite performer: Dean Martin. You know there's a lot going on, but I'm gonna take things nice and easy at my own pace, enjoying every second. Life shouldn't be one long constant, stressful battle that you have to claw yourself through. Sure a bit of excitement is necessary, but life's too short to waste being wound up the whole time.
As such I don't sweat too much that my audition for Britain's Got Talent was a no-go, or that I couldn't audition for one show because I was a couple of inches too tall. Nor do I brag about having performed on the West-End or any other such things. Sure, they've happened, and they're all interesting little asides, but the beat goes on and like so many things in life, you have to keep looking at the next thing. Which is what brings me here!
You're talking to a hopeless romantic who has been struggling to move his romances off of the stage and into the real world. Don't believe me? I'm the biggest sucker for a pair of beautiful eyes and a smile, they're the first things I notice and the things that will never cease to bring me some form of fascination.
My idea of a perfect match is someone who doesn't mind being serenaded every now and then, or being treated to some random affection. Be it a personal joke or some mind-blowing and life changing experience we've shared, my match will be someone to explore things and places with. Be warned though... you're in for a lot of talking. I may well have my quiet moments but when we do engage in conversation, you're gonna know about it. I've been known to have long conversations with people, lasting a good few hours. You should know that as much as I talk however, my greatest kick comes in listening and learning about folks. What they like, how they tick and how I can get them ticking away happily while they're with me.
Above all, I'm looking for personalities, so what if we don't end up together? Show me a good personality and I'll be more than happy to show you a welcoming smile and a hug of friendship. If you like to laugh, or if you're someone with epic thoughts on how to change the world for the better, or even if you're just keen on developing the better mousetrap... I'll be very keen to engage with you. I'm not a fast mover in relationships, and I like to trust a person before I do anything too serious, but if you've a personality, you've a definite head start!

I'm enjoying my job at the Theatre, constantly searching for good auditions, working on a big writing project, and studying to get some further qualifications.

Singing, Acting, Writing, listening.

My eyes, most people comment on the way I always look deep into someone's eyes when I talk to them. Mostly from there, they notice my attention to detail and how much attention I pay to things going on around me.

Books: Les Miserables, Phantom of the opera, The Inheritance Cycle, The Vampire Chronicles, A Clockwork Orange, Frankenstein, Dracula, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Movies: Anything by Tim Burton, specially The Nightmare Before Christmas. Anything with a fairly dark sense of humour and anything with a good soundtrack or storyline.
Music: The Rat Pack, Dean Martin Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds, Musical Theatre other than that, I'm fairly open minded, changing my favourites like I change my mood.
Food: *shrug * I don't really have a favourite... It's food... you eat it to live. Chinese food can be nice.

Music, a Stage, My Notebook, a Clear Night Sky, My Friends and lastly, my dark sense of humour.

I like to think of a lot of deep and meaningful things, but sometimes I just let my imagination take over and give thinking a rest. Really, i tend to focus a lot on the things at hand. Right now that is how nice it might be to find someone to share my life with and also coming up with lots of ideas for my writing project.

Singing away to a musical or some other thing, or chilling out to the smooth tones of Dean Martin while drinking a glass of Jack Daniels.
