I like bad movies, good tv, anime and video games. I believe that trips to the store and long drives can be great adventures if you have someone special to share them with. I'm definitely a cat person, but my landlord doesn't allow pets.
I have a very dry sense of humor and enjoy wordplay and puns. I like building things and fixing things and being generally useful to have around. I'm an INTJ, if that means anything to you.

I'm a software developer in Davis Square by day.

A few months ago, I learned that I'm chronically anemic.
Iron supplements have had an amazing effect and I've been spending the last few months doing as many of the things I wasn't capable of for many years. My nights and weekends have been filled with ballroom dancing, contra dancing and anything else I can think of.

I'm taking a bit of a hiatus from jiu jitsu, but hope to get back to the dojo in the next month or two. There's nothing quite as exciting as taking ballroom dancing classes concurrently with jiu jitsu classes. I have yet to accidentally throw my dance partner to the ground or balance and swing an unsuspecting uki, so I'll call that a win.

I also take part in a great little gaming group out of Pandemonium Books in Cambridge where we play and playtest small press indie games.

I'm good at remembering random facts about science fiction and old video games. I can also field strip a computer blindfolded. I was tutored in cuddling by a siamese cat.

I've been told that I have gorgeous hair. When I was in college, I grew it out and wore it long and made all the ladies jealous. Now I change the color pretty frequently.

A. Lord of the Rings, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Shakespeare. Ray Bradbury is the son of Calliope herself.

B. I loved Shrek and Big Fish, oh and Princess Bride and Labyrinth. Plus Citizen Kane. I also love Godzilla movies and silly sci fi. MST3K makes me very happy, especially since quite a few of the movies they do are movies I'd be watching anyway.

A better question would be about tv shows. I always download the newest Doctor Who, and I'm a fan of Mythbusters, Burn Notice and Stargate. I'm hopelessly addicted to Hulu at this point. I also grew up watching lots of great British tv, such as Black Adder and Red Dwarf.

C. I've got eclectic tastes. I love classic rock and 80s music and the blues. I love Aerosmith, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, the Bangles, the Proclaimers and Mary Lou Lord. I also spend a lot of time listening to podcasts about retro gaming and technology.

D. Umm... burgers? Food has never really interested me. I frequently forget to eat.

Good work to keep me busy, good friends to keep me sane, linear time to give actions meaning, my DS for long bus rides, a good beat to keep me moving and a good challenge to keep me motivated.
Also, my bike, but that goes without saying.

There are so many things I want to do and so little time in the day. The future, too. My life in the last few years has been characterized by rising action. I fully expect the trend to continue and can't wait to see where I end up.

Also dancing. I have accepted Nils Fredland, Dance Caller as my personal lord and savior. I don't get out to Concord that often anymore, since I went car free, but still get out there every few weeks. And I almost never miss the BIDA dances in Cambridge.

I'm able to beat both the NES game Contra and Contra dancing without using the konami code, but not at the same time (yet!).

I'm painfully, pathologically shy. I'm working very hard to break out of my shell, and the progress I've made in the last few years is staggering.

Or you'd like to go dancing sometime. I've taken a couple classes in swing and salsa, but never got up the gumption to go on my own, so those skills have atrophied somewhat. I'd love a partner.
