My self-summary
Hmm Self-summary. I feel somewhat compressed by this. There is the usual stuff of hiking and blah blah blah but I will not bore you with that. What I really enjoy is passion, conversations, art, and humor. Not necessarily in that order, but possibly in that order, or one close to it. I can have a slightly dry sarcastic wit, but I can also be really silly and I have no problem being highly self deprecating.
I am lively, introspective, have a few brain-cells left, which I have burning on high (most of the time). I can identify and even feel my own feelings. I am honest and really am not into playing games. If I like you, I'll tell you. If I want to call the next day I'll call and I do not call repeatedly or text too often. If it is working out then hallelujah! If not then no worries we can both move on and I wish you all the best.
Here is the bit that is not trying to be clever or really trying to be anything. In the end I genuinely care about people. I think too much about art pieces yet to be made and poems and prose that have not yet been written. I work hard but I am by no means a finished product. I am still figuring this whole thing out and probably will be to some extent until I expire which hopefully will be in another sixty or seventy some odd years.
Until I come up with more for this summary that is my nutshell. I welcome you to crack it open and venture farther down the rabbit hole. Cheers,

P.S. On the questions section I feel that there are some questions where I would not ever think about answering the question another way and other questions that I couldn't care less about. But here is the thing, big John Locke fan, this means that I am always open to the other side of the debate to either prove my point or to take on another world view. There is always room to shift or learn something new.
What I’m doing with my life
I came back to Atlanta to take care of my dad after his back surgery. He is doing wonderfully. I had to stay with him for five months but that was some time ago and so once again I have been able to move out of his house and into a place with an awesome roommate. I have received a masters in Depth Counseling Psychology. Basically I can read your mind. Well not yet but if I sit with a client I do have some techniques (both mainstream such as Rogerian, CBT, Family systems, and Humanistic, as well as some non-mainstream, dream analysis, working with archetypes, sand tray, guided imagination and many more) that I can utilized as we work through their issues.

With all this education one would think that I would be using it productively but you would be wrong. I do hold both dream and Archetypal workshops. The last one was an Archetype and Yoga workshop. Will probably be doing another one of those soon but mostly I paint. It turns out that this is a constant in my life and at the moment everyone to whom I have shown my work is encouraging me to put on an art show so that is what I am doing. To pay the bills I am back to serving at a restaurant and if you have a big problem with this then I would ask why? I know I will eventually get my PhD and become a university professor if I am not a famous artist by then but for now I am enjoying living my passion. Oh yeah I also do charcoal and pencil portraits for $$$.
I’m really good at
Being me. Oh and at not being that jerk at the end of the bar. Loser.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that I smile a lot and that after speaking with my family I tend to take on an accent (South African, but more British than Afrikaner).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
wow, tough one. hmm top five for each no order and these do tend to change.

The Things They Carried, Tim O'Brien
The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
Necromancer, William Gibson
Mona Lisa Overdrive, William Gibson (recent addition)
The Hobbit, J. R. R. Tolkien
Chocolat, Joanne Harris (much better than the movie)

Movies: (Only a few that I can think of right now b/c I love movies)
Eat, Drink, Man, Woman
Most John Hughes movies
High Fidelity

right now Jazz (John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Etta James, Billie Holiday)
Rock (Led Zeppelin, Billie Idol, White Stripes, Tom Petty, I'm stopping there there are just way too many.
Imagine Dragons, Lana Del Rey, The Lumineers, and Ray LaMontagne to name a few more.

Not that into gangster Rap but I do like some rap and I even like the occasional country song. I prefer classical to opera and movies to live theater but that is mostly because I have seen some terrible theatrical productions.

Love Food and I am fairly adventurous. I think that great ingredients should speak for themselves and I love to cook and to try new recipes but fair warning I am gluten and dairy free. I can always find something to eat out at restaurants but feel amazing now that I have adopted this eating style. My joints no longer hurt and I am not tired all the time as I used to be. Food allergies suck.
