Getting ready to find my Mom a house in New Mexico. Then I plan to take a long trip abroad sometime this Fall to teach English and hopefully start work with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

my trip this Fall starting with Indonesia. I want to become immersed in language(s) and culture. My ultimate goal is to climb an active volcano there.

being atypical. I'm not much for routine and rather enjoy not always knowing what's around the next corner.

I am new to polyamory but not to being in more than one relationship at a time. The difference? For it to be polyamory, everything has to be in the open and where communication is paramount. Everyone involved should know what's going on.

Of course this becomes difficult in a society where monogamy is the accepted default thus limiting potential partners. But I'd rather be upfront and honest about my life than waste time sneaking around.

I don't feel monogamy is wrong. In fact I may return to it someday. Poly is simply part of the life path I am on now.
