I'm a low maintenance, burnt out engineering student.

I recently started dating someone, and we have a semi-open relationship although I am very happy with my boyfriend and not actively seeking other partners, especially men. I'm always up for friends, of course.

I don't sign on here every day to check messages, and I am likely to disappear for weeks or months at a time when life starts getting in the way of my internet. So I might not respond to you in a timely manner.

So far, I've been taking care of my horse, knitting and sewing, hiking, getting a puppy, and being a hermit.

Donating blood. Hula hooping. Baking, especially brownies and cupcakes. Making stuff. Sewing. Spinning yarn. Knitting. Seriously, I could probably knit anything.

I don't know. Maybe my unmanageable hair or colorful glasses. I get compliments on my smile sometimes.

Books: I like a lot of different genres from the classics to sci-fi and fantasy. Some of my favorites are Abarat by Clive Barker, Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson and Harry Potter.

Movies: Post-apocalyptic is my favorite genre of pretty much everything, especially movies. I love the Road Warrior series, Waterworld, Tank Girl, Resident Evil, etc.
Movies of other genres that I enjoy include The Fall, Secretary, Office Space, Wristcutters: A Love Story, and The Big Lebowski.

Music: I really do like all kinds of music. I especially enjoy world music, folk, bluegrass, funk and classic rock like The Who and The Beatles.

Food: I love different kinds of food especially mexican, Indian, sushi and Thai. I'm not a vegetarian, although I am often mistaken for one. I'm gluten-intolerant, so that limits my food choices somewhat. It also sucks because I love pesto on pasta (who doesn't?).
