I am quirky, bubbly, and independent.
My Self-Summary
I thrive on the hectic craziness of Manhattan, but know I won't
live here forever.
I love sleeping in ridiculously late on the weekends. But then I
get really upset if the weather is nice and I've wasted precious
hours of sunshine that could have been spent outdoors.
I've lived in London on two different occasions and am completely
obsessed with that city. I rode a camel in Israel last summer. I
also live for summer weekends at the Jersey Shore.
I'm a Philly sports fan...don't hate me for it!
Some things I DISLIKE: Clingy people (I like to do my own thing on
occasion), cold or rainy weather, bananas, being told what to do,
sushi, stupid reality tv shows (although I have no problem at all
with stupid scripted tv shows), snack foods made with artificial
cheese
I’m really good at
buying concert tickets online (it really is an important skill). I
always get into the sold out shows for face value and get the best
seats at arenas.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a genuinely happy person.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love Bruce Springsteen and various alternative rock bands (my
obsessions of the moment are The Gaslight Anthem and Vampire
Weekend). Live music beats anything else.
As far as food goes, I like to eat. A LOT. I'm very into
dips...guacamole, hummus and salsa in particular. I'm also addicted
to frozen yogurt, and I love shopping at health food stores.
I think LOST is the best show on TV. I might cry when it's over
after this season. And I never cry.
The six things I could never do without
My family & friends
Concerts (especially Bruce)
Penn State
My overcrowded DVR
Lots of snacks
Internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I would travel and what I would do if I won the
lottery.
How to travel and do what I want to do without winning the
lottery.
What I want to eat for lunch and/or dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
I really wish I could say that I spend my Friday evenings doing
wildly original and eclectic activities...But in reality most
nights just involve some drinks, some food and my favorite girls.
As everyone likes to point out, the bar scene definitely gets old,
but I'll have fun anywhere if I'm with the right people.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Over the summer i decided on a whim to invest in a brand new pair
of rollerblades, and I told everyone I know about my exciting new
hobby. As of November, I can say that I've skated a grand total of
2 times. One of those times resulted in a traumatizing wipeout in
Central Park. I'll definitely need to work on this for next
summer...
Also, I was in my high school marching band.
