My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
NYC native - (Queens originally) but Brooklyn suits me better. Laid back, positive, witty, and direct. I know what I want and don't play games. I can pretty much guarantee to make you laugh and will do my best to keep us laughing always. I am easy-going, genuine and have a child-like air about me that you may or may not realize upon first impression. Love is amazing, yet not easy to come by, so I'm open to all kinds of connections.

My type varies; Femme or Androgynous with style. Personality ALWAYS trumps the physical of course. Sense of humor (wit!) and honesty are essential. An assertive, intelligent, confident and compassionate woman is perfection.

For those of you into this sort of thing:
Aries / Pisces moon / Libra rising
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Sr. Producer at a Digital Agency in DUMBO, Brooklyn. I spend time with friends (I have some of those), read, research anything/everything, write (Instagram captions count), work out, discover new music, cocktails, and restaurants. Occasionally, I cook or bake. Mainly vegan recipes, because, I mean, why not? May I interest you in some peanut butter oat & flaxseed pancakes or avocado chocolate chip cookies (THEY ARE AMAZING)?

Live in Williamsburg and I bike (as in bicycle) everywhere every single day (in all seasons) unless there's some crazy downpour happening.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not taking myself too seriously and enjoying when someone knows how to take witty friendly jabs at me. Making people laugh, coming up with the best (inappropriate/uncomfortable) "would you rather" questions. Taking flattering pictures of friends. Enjoying my own company. Riding fixed. Burning a wooden spoon boiling water for pasta.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Could be one or a combination of the following:
- Shoes
- My messenger bag
- My Bike
- My eyes/eyelashes
- The one strand of hair sticking straight up in the air (fix it!)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Americanah, Between the World and Me, No One Belongs Here More Than You, Dry, Magical Thinking, The Road.

Movies: Some of my favs. Requiem for a Dream, Sin Nombre, Cinema Paradiso, Submarine, Some Kind of Wonderful, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Squid & The Whale.

TV: I've seen every episode of Shark Tank twice. I like Food Network shows. Orphan Black. OITNB (how original). I watch some REALLY bad TV sometimes. I'll fill you in later, but just know I'm that girl crying while catching an episode of Long Island Medium...or Shahs of Sunset.

Music: Extensive. Here's a tiny selection. The Knife, IAMX, Grimes, Milosh, Submotion Orchestra, FKA Twigs, Cat Power, Sigur Ros, The Hundred in the Hands, Wye Oak, The Jezabels, JMSN, Jean Deaux, SZA, Glass Animals, Holly Miranda, Active Child, Cocorosie, Perfume Genius, Chet Faker, Jessie Ware, Tegan and Sara, Weeknd, etc. Show me a song I instantly love that I never heard before, and I'll want to make out with your soul.

Food: Too much to list but the shining star is Hummus. You might say, I have a problem. I have hummus with every meal and can dip everything/anything in it. I also dig Quinoa, Cous cous, chickpeas, all kinds of veggies (shoutout to eggplant though). OH. And I'm obsessed with peanut butter. I have it by the knivefulls (it taste better off a knife than a spoon. Trust the connoisseur).

( I'm technically a pescatarian; I love seafood)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Bike
Good Rye or Bourbon
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music. Next restaurant/bar to try, my next bike ride. Why do so many girls include Halloween pictures of themselves on here? How to make this profile 75% less rambly. Why marshmallow is spelled with an "a" and not an "e". How many hours of sleep I'll get in before needing to wake up for work. Social justice, racial inequality, civil rights, the dangers of white supremacy in this country and what sort of impact I could have onto the minds of others. That was serious so uh... Why my hair part isn't as extreme as it used to be. How to be a better person.
Coconut oil.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out (with a rye/bourbon rocks in hand) or in napping. Or out, then in entertaining myself until I pass out.

Also thinking about brunch the next day.
As in, "Will anyone go to brunch with me?"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am an extremely open person with little to no filter--so I'd be willing to admit tons. Just ask. Not easily offended. Twitter/instagram @daniela_oneL

Also, gold star.

- You're honest, like to be silly sometimes, have conversations about everything/anything and nothing at all.
- You're socially conscious/aware.
- You enjoy deep soulful laughs, you're confident, and want to get to know me beyond this thesis of a profile.
Being at least a little charming doesn't hurt either.
Smarts - have 'em. Be open at least, to making meaningful connections.

Other reasons:
You think there's a song I'd absolutely love.
You've seen my vines and don't think I'm insane.
You'd enjoy people watching with me and imagining what their conversations are (involves doing voice-overs)
