My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

I like to exercise because it feels good, but drinking whiskey also feels good.

If you don't like going out to clubs/bars that much and you want to meet someone that is the same way, where do you meet people like this?

Bill Withers is the most underrated musician of all time.

I either like to be joking around completely or having conversations about serious things. I can talk seriously about personal/social issues and switch to speaking in satire rather fluidly.

I usually read people's profiles before looking at their pictures.

I like people with a healthy dose of skepticism, questioning the systems that be.

Biking while listening to trip hop/ambient/dance music is wonderful.

If everyone did Jiu Jitsu, the world would be a much better and happier place.

I'm honest, empathic, ironic, logical, intelligent.

Calvin and Hobbes is all you need to read to understand the world. Or at least America.

Should Noam Chomsky narrate erotic books on tape?

I can't discuss identity politics or middle eastern geopolitics as well as someone getting their PHd, but I think I have a pretty good understanding of how the world works. I'm going to be a social worker, and I think everything comes down to how what environment people grow up in. I look at the macro of issues, and use psychology to understand the world. I believe in the potential goodness and self determination of all people, but I'm not the cheery type. I'm more of the "celebrate the inherent sadness, loss, and confusion of the world" with humor. Basically an old school Jew in an assimilated world.

I love having long intense intellectual discussions, and I also like stretches of silence. I'm your classic introvert, that needs time to recharge alone before engaging again. There's only a few people in the world who I can constantly have things to talk to, but I'm not really into discussing topics too much, or nerding out about things like sports, music (maybe a bit, but for how important music is in my life, I still don't need to talk about it that much). I'd rather be joking about things, or talking about mushy stuff like feelings, and human dynamics.

Getting a Master's of Social Work.

Doing a lot of singer/songwriter stuff, and hopefully putting together a band soon. I play weekly at open mics, and have had a few solo gigs. I can play the guitar better than I can sing, and am always on the lookout for a wonderful female vocalist to accompany me. I want to be like Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi.

Trying to increase my social circle. Messaging people on OK.
