I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in business management and moved back down here to find work closer to my family. I love being outside, have a passion for walking/hiking, and am a practicing composer for TV and film when I'm not at work or relaxing. And now that the boring stuff is out of the way:
I'm currently working on getting my master's degree in music education with the hopes of teaching at the college level. I was a singer throughout college and I retain a bit of that "performer" flair (random flamboyancy, spontaneous musical outbursts, thinking I'm sharp witted, John Cena impressions, etc). Fair warning.
I'm looking for someone who is passionate, responsible, and doesn't mind a smidgen of southern charm y'all.
What I’m doing with my life
Mostly music stuff and work, otherwise I'm binge watching various shows or at the gym.
(Shameless plug) If you're interested, my music portfolio is currently being worked on, and the link to my confirmed works is below: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxQx2iqyIA4DjbCTFDTF_zw
I’m really good at
My hobby is musical composition, so hopefully I'm good at that. Music is subjective anyway :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I get a lot of compliments on my eyes, let's go with that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Big Fish, The Lord of the Rings, and I'm a sucker for inspirational sports drama.
Music: Anything and everything, but I listen to a lot of jazz swing crooners (Dean Martin is my man), bluegrass, country, rock, pop, film scores, and orchestral works.
TV: Game of Thrones, Seth MacFarlane shows, The Office, Archer, Friday Night Lights
Books: The God Delusion, Appetite for Wonder, and things like that. I like big picture ideas.
The six things I could never do without
Can we assume that family and friends are implied?
lists that allow me to post more than six things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Big picture" topics like science, the future, the universe, and things along those lines. Also food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Inside watching a movie or casually out with some friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once broke my arm while jumping on the bed. Parents were right to caution us.
You should message me if
You're looking for something long term and have a good sense of humor, the latter more important than the former.
