I am a musician who also has a desk job. I teach, record and perform and am very passionate about music and the arts. I love dumb comedies, great books, philosophy, trivia, basketball, Top Chef, Bill Maher, Family Guy and all the offshoots... I don't have a favorite color, food or song, but my favorite drink is a Mango Lassi (Indian Food rules). I am looking for an artsy girl (preferably a musician too... To work with and live out our passions together...) to have fun with and see where it takes us. I would love to settle down with the right person and just live a simple, fun filled and kindhearted existence.

Music, Music and Music. I record, teach and perform... I also love basketball, writing, cooking, drawing and all other things artistic. I have a nice studio at my place (I am a homeowner... yay...) and I own a ton of weird instruments (and not so weird ones...) That is my main focus.. making weird music for people to trip out to... I am not a bubblegum type of person, and I believe that all art should challange people as well as please them... Not everything in life needs to be familiar, just positive, emotional and interesting.... And probably thought provoking, too...

Music, art, cooking, writing and delivering speeches, carrying really heavy things, kissing, impressions (yes I do a lot of them).... I am also pretty decent at certain Xbox games (though my friends may contend otherwise...) I speak Hebrew fluently (if that's a skill?!?!) Also, I am really good at interrupting people when they speak...

I'm tall, I'm bald, I am funny, and, if I have a guitar in my hand, I am pretty talented, I think.

Books: anything by Hermann Hesse, Chuck Klosterman, Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Anton Wilson, Hunter S. Thompson.... Music theory books of all sorts (I know, I am a nerd...) Steppenwolf is one of my favorite books of all time, along with Siddhartha, Narcissus and Goldmund, etc. Hesse is just flat out mesmerizing... Wilson's Cosmic Trigger series is life altering... If you haven't read Klostermans' "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs (A Low Culture Manifesto)" you really should!!! Especially if you're a Gen-X/Gen-Y person.... Hazarat Inayat Khan is pretty amazing, too. (The Music of Life, Mastery, etc.) Victor Wootens' The Music Lesson is a revelation (He is the Carlos Castaneda of music... as is stated by a reviewer of this book...) I could go on forever... I love to read...

Music: too much to get into.. Everything from jazz to metal to classical, to funk, to reggae, hip hop, etc. Right now, listening to Billie Holiday, Pantera, Adam Rogers, Sly and the Family Stone, Medeski Martin and Wood, Frank Sinatra, John McLaughlin, Mr. Bungle (one of my all time favorites) and Frank Zappa (one of the biggest influences on me musically...). I also love Charlie Hunter, Tuck Andress, a ton of classic rock from the Doors to Zep to Pink Floyd (another huge influence)... Marley, old Chili Peppers, Metallica, Sepultura, Meshuggah, Ella Fitzgerald (my favorite female vocalist of all time), Esperanza Spalding, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Paco DeLucia, etc. etc. ad nauseum... Also, Oceansize is one of my favorite new bands (eventhough they just broke up...)

Movies: again too much to get into, but off the top of my head: Anchorman, Grandma's Boy, The Hangover, Step Brothers, City of Lost Children, Silence of the Lambs, Yes man, Etrenal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, Swimming with Sharks, Happy Gilmore, Borat, Bruno, Ali G in Da House, Talladega nights, Supersize Me, Waiting for Superman, Dr. Strangelove, Putney Swope, A Clockwork Orange, Goodfellas, The Basketball Diaries, The Breakfast Club, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Youth In Revolt, Superbad, Knocked Up, 40 Year-Old Virgin, Dinner For Shmucks, Pirates of the Carribean, Dead Man, Crazy Heart, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon... I know I am missing TONS... I could go on forever with this as well...

Food: I love ethnic foods. Middle Eastern, Indian, Thai, etc. It's hard to find a good bowl of Pho in Miami (That is Vietnamese, for you who don't know) I miss Seattle for this reason (and many others, to be frank...) But I am open to most anything gastronomically related.

either being a homebody, writing/recording, working out or out with friends... (or playing a gig...) I am always down for whatever as long as it's not a chore. I am not into TRYING to have fun.. I would much rather let it happen organically.
